Louis C. Patcle, age 79, of Potosi, Wisconsin, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025, at Grant Regional Health Center surrounded by family. He was born November 18, 1945, the son of John L. Patcle Sr. and Luella E. (Leeser) in Potosi, Wisconsin. Louis graduated from Cassville High School in 1963. Louis graciously served in the United States Navy from November of 1966 until November of 1968, serving in the reserves before going on active duty. On September 28, 2005, he was married to the love of his life, Yolonda K. Dietrich. Louis worked for Wisconsin Power and Light Company from 1970 until his retirement in 2007, dedicating 37 years. Louis enjoyed having coffee at The Potosi Yacht Club until it closed, and then Scooter’s Midway. He loved his trips out west and riding his Harley, but the most important part of his life was his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Yolonda; children: Tamie Patcle, Kimberly (Andy) Marinelli, and Charles (Katie) Hurt; step-sons: Steven (Lori) Staver and John Staver; loving grandchildren: Hunter (Owen) Kisting, Chloe (Luke) Hurt, Ella (Joe) Gutknecht, Lexi Marinelli, Melissa Staver, Brooklyn Marinelli, Cashton Hurt, Caplan Hurt, of Wisconsin, and Colorado Kircher and Reiley Abbas-Staver of Reno, Nevada.
In addition to his parents, Louis is preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Dorothea (Carl) Blindert; father-in-law, LeRoy Dietrich; and sister-in-law, Linda Dietrich.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Charles Catholic Church in Cassville. Burial with military honors will be held in the St. Charles Cemetery. Family and Friends may visit on Saturday, April 5, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the church. A parish rosary will be held at 9:45 a.m. at the church.
