She will be attending Clarke University in the fall for nursing. Samantha is sponsored by McDermott Oil Company.

Fair Queen Qualifications Fair Queen contestants must be attending or have graduated from high school.

They must reside in Dubuque County along with at least one parent or guardian. They must be an active member of at least one service organization such as Girl Scouts, church group, 4-H, etc.

A committee of judges will select the Dubuque County Fair Queen. Judging will be based on personality, awareness, leadership, citizenship, contributions to the community as well as overall appearance, charm and poise.

3. Note: Children may enter items for Division E (garden) and F (antiques & our heritage), but they will be judged with adult entries.
