NEIGHBOURHOOD NOTES

06 Eventful Times

Share ideas. Inspire change.

With consistent care, innovative solutions and a residentsfirst approach, your community continues to grow stronger. Here’s a look at the changes and improvements in your neighbourhood during these past three months.

Safer Steps, Happier Play Safety flooring across all six children’s playgrounds has been refreshed, offering better impact absorption and a more comfortable surface for little ones on the move. That means softer landings and added peace of mind for parents, so the kids can run, jump and adventure to their hearts’ content.

Keeping Access Clear Acting on resident feedback, ‘No Parking’ markings have been added at DEWA substations across Warsan Village, making it easier to spot spaces that need to stay clear. Keeping these areas free of parked vehicles helps ensure safe, unobstructed access to critical utility points when needed.

Bin It Better 200 recycling bins and 200 general waste bins have been placed near all villas in the community, making it easier for residents to sort and dispose of waste closer to home. With more dedicated bins in place, sorting waste becomes more convenient and shared spaces stay cleaner and better looked after for everyone.

Outdoor Gains, Coming Soon Two new shaded outdoor gyms are coming soon to Blocks B and C, giving residents more ways to stay active while enjoying the fresh air close to home. Featuring equipment for cardio, strength training, stretching and general fitness, the new spaces will cater to different fitness levels and residents can look forward to taking their workouts to a shaded setting.

YOUR COMMUNITY RECYCLING RATE

Every correctly recycled item helped us reach it. Now, let’s see how much higher we can take it.

Did You Know?

Recycling opportunities are part of our everyday routines. Sometimes, it’s simply about spotting them before they end up in the wrong bin.

Finished your lunch?

Back from a workout?

Unpacked a delivery?

That empty can could be ready for recycling.

Give that empty water bottle a second look.

Flatten the cardboard box and recycle it.

Next time, before it hits the bin:
