Here are 10 things that will help you avoid provoking your children to wrath:
1. Remove anger and impatience from your own life. 'So then, my beloved brethren, let every man be
swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of
God. ' James 1:19-20 NKJV
2. Avoid inconsistency. Determining your actions based on your mood is unhealthy. 'Jesus
Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. ' Hebrews 13:8 NKJV
3. Don’t neglect discipline. 'He who withholds the rod [of discipline] hates his son, But he who loves him
disciplines and trains him diligently and appropriately [with wisdom and love]. 'Proverbs 13:24 AMP
4. Never be abusive, either verbally or physically. 'Let no
corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. ' Ephesians 4:29 NKJV
5. Set clear expectations, rules, boundaries, and accountability. 'Just say a simple, ‘Yes, I will, ’ or ‘No, I won’t. ’ Anything beyond this is from the evil one ' Matthew 5:37 NLT

of discipline or correction.

than all his brothers, they hated

reasonable and without harshness.

and attractive so that you will have

9. Be equitable in your discipline, making “the punishment f it the
crime. ” 'Employers, treat your workers with equality and justice as you know that you also have a Lord
and Master in heaven who is
