The Iowa High School Musical Theater Awards Showcase is an unmatched celebration of the achievements of Iowa students involved in their high school musical productions. During this evening of entertainment at the Civic Center, students from 30 participating schools will be honored for their amazing work and will perform highlights from the musicals they presented during the past year.
The Awards Showcase is the culmination of the Iowa High School Musical Theater Awards - a year-long education initiative of Des Moines Performing Arts. Throughout the school year, skilled adjudicators attend participating schools' high school musical theater productions and provide valuable feedback to students and directors.
