A few Words from the First Year Head…

A HUGE Congratulations to all First Years on your successful transition to Post Primary School. I am so proud of you all for so many reasons, your enthusiastic participation in all school events & activities, your personal successes both inside and outside of school in sport, dance, gymnastics, art, drama etc. No doubt, settling in & down to work was not so easy, or as quick, for some students. But you did it, and I applaud your resilience and courage to pick yourselves up, start afresh, and get on with it – so, Well Done.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Board of Management, Ms. Troy, Ms. O’Shea, the Parents Association, & Sisters Elizabeth, Martina & Mary for all their hard work & commitment to ensure that we ALL ‘do our best’ for the students guided by the values of Care, Respect & Inclusion. I would like to thank Ms. Gallagher, Ms. Weldon & Ms. Leslie (HSLO) for their endless Care (in every way possible) for all the First Years, and without whom, my work as Year Head would not have been possible. I would also like to extend my gratitude to Parents & Guardians for all your support throughout the year. Last but by no means least, I would like to thank ALL the First Students for your cooperation. I wish you all a safe, happy, and well-deserved break over the summer holidays… Be ‘Good’ & help at home!!

A few Words from our First Year Form Tutors, Ms. Weldon & Ms. Gallagher

As your form tutor, I want to celebrate the many memories we’ve created during your first year of secondary school. From the initial nervousness to the friendships that blossomed, it’s been a year of growth, camaraderie, and the occasional locker and timetable mystery. As you flip through this memory book, may it serve as a reminder of your ability to overcome obstacles and embrace new experiences. May you go on to create more cherished memories that will fill future memory books.

It has been a pleasure to be form tutor to Rang Eimear this year. All the students have settled into St Paul's so well. They have had a wonderful first year and I am very proud of every one of them. I am most impressed with the kindness that I see every single day, as they look out for and uplift one another. I hope the students have an amazing Summer and we look forward to welcoming them back to Second Year.
