WHAT IS FOCUS NIGHT? The DSE Focus Night, also known as Fokusaften, is an annual event, which comprises of several evenings.

Each evening has its own themes with up to four visiting companies. Here the students will have the opportunity to meet some of the most exciting engineering companies in Denmark.

A DSE Focus Night consists of to sessions. The companies will give the same presentation in both sessions, which means that you can attend two different company presentations in one evening. After the presentations, there will be an appetizer, free of charge, for all the students who have signed up in advance for the Focus Night. This will be a perfect way for you to network with the visiting companies in an informal setting.

Is it relevant for everyone?

The companies are looking for you!

No matter what stage you are at in your education, a Focus Night is well worth your time. Whether you are a newly started engineering student or a graduate, Focus Night is a good occasion to learn more of the daily work within some of the largest engineering companies located in Denmark and abroad.

All the companies attending Focus Night invest a lot of time and resources to find the best engineers to fill positions or start projects with. Be prepared and stand out from the other students and maybe you will get your dream job.

You get the opportunity to network your way into a great position or to commence a project in collaboration with your favorite company.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND Focus Night is arranged by DSE (De Studerendes Erhvervskontakt), which is an entirely voluntary student organization. DSE has around 100 members across two divisions with offices located in Ballerup, Lyngby and Aalborg. Most of the members are engineering students. DSE has been around for almost 30 years and the relevancy of our events is as great as ever.

As an organization, DSE offers a lot of benefits as well as challenges for our members. Not only do we arrange Focus Night and PRE-PAIR, we also organize and conduct the biggest job and career fair in Denmark, the DSE Fair Lyngby, and we produce one of the best job finding tools in the country, Pejling.

Hvem er vi?

Aarsleff er en internationalt positioneret entreprenørkoncern. Vores årsomsætning er på 10,4 milliarder kroner – heraf 27 % i udlandet. Vi har gjort det til vores speciale at udtænke, planlægge og gennemføre store projekter inden for infrastruktur, klimatilpasning, miljø, energi og byggeri.

Vores kompetencer Vi har udviklet særlige kompetencer inden for havne- og vandbygning, banearbejder og etablering af havmølleparker, og vi udnytter vores specialentreprenørkompetencer, når vi opfører råhuse og leverer komplette løsninger inden for erhvervs- og institutionsbyggerier. Vi er markedsførende inden for pælefundering og opgravningsfri rørfornyelse.

Vores projekter gør en forskel for mange mennesker. For tiden er vi fx i gang med at etablere råhuse til ungdomsboliger på Nørrebro, en udvidelse af Københavns Lufthavn, en tilbygning til Bispebjerg Hospital, et nyt hovedkontor for Carlsberg og forarbejderne til Femern-forbindelsen.

ENGINEER AT AARSLEFF RAIL – A WAY OF LIFE Working as an engineer for Aarsleff Rail you participate in planning and implementing all types of railway works. Together we continue to develop new solutions to maintenance and construction of railways. Sometimes alone, sometimes in cooperation with our international and Danish partners, always contributing with our specialist knowledge and skills such as track work, ground engineering, welding, signalling, high voltage, traction current, railway safety, structures and full-automatic inspection systems.
