Dr. Stephanie Manning is dedicated to making a difference in her patients’ lives by providing exemplary dental care. She knows that it takes more than just good technique to be a great dentist - it takes commitment, understanding, and most importantly, a genuine interest in patient health and safety. Dr. Manning graduated in 2007 from UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry with honors. Her practice focuses on esthetic dentistry and the art of smile-making. Dr. Manning has training in cosmetics, restorative, family dentistry, and the treatment of mild to moderate cases of dental sleep apnea with oral appliances. Before studying dentistry, Dr. Manning, completed a B.S. degree in Biology in 2003. She is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the ADA, AGD, NC Dental Society, Old North State Dental Society, Charlotte Dental Society, and AACA. Dr. Manning is also a proud Albert Schweitzer Fellow. She keeps her clinical skills current through an ongoing commitment to continuing education courses throughout each year. Our annual Christmas Parade & Tree Lighting continues to be a cherished tradition, filling the streets with festive energy and holiday cheer. These events highlight what makes Mint Hill such a vibrant and connected community for all ages. This summer, we celebrated the official opening of the Splash Pad, located at the New Mint Hill Community Center still under construction, for families to enjoy. The Chamber is excited to be relocating its offices to this new hub of community engagement. Mint Hill is home to three public parks, offering spaces for recreation, gathering, and connection, including favorites like Mint Hill Veterans Memorial Park, Founders Park and Park on Wilgrove. Residents can also enjoy nearby Mecklenburg County parks such as McAlpine Creek Park and Reedy Creek Nature Center and Preserve, which expand the region’s access to trails, natural spaces, and outdoor fun. Spanning over 50 acres, Mint Hill Veterans Memorial Park offers a wide range of activities for all ages. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy two turf soccer fields, a softball field, tennis and pickleball courts, handball/ practice courts, sand volleyball, and horseshoe pits. Families will appreciate the playground, picnic shelters, and a scenic one-mile nature trail. The park also features a nine-hole disc golf course that winds through natural wooded areas. Native plants and trees line the trail, attracting a variety of birds for nature lovers and bird-watchers. A place of both recreation and reflection, the park is home to the NC Korean War Memorial, honoring the 788 North Carolinians who were killed or remain missing in action during the Korean War.

This 28-acre park is named for the many families that have contributed to the Town’s founding and still have descendants that live, work and contribute to the betterment of the Town. A standout feature is the 1.3 acre dog park with separate areas for small and large breeds and a shaded seating area. There are two playgrounds, one for toddlers and the other for older children. The playground includes amenities for kids with special needs. Families can also enjoy peaceful hiking trails that wind through natural surroundings. The playground and dog park are open daily from 7:00 a.m. – 10:30 p.m. The trails are open during daylight hours only. It’s a welcoming, family-friendly destination where everyone, two-legged or four-legged, can enjoy the outdoors.

The Town of Mint Hill is governed by a non-partisan Mayor and Board of Commissioners, elected at-large biannually. They all work together to adopt laws, set standards, levy taxes, direct expenditures, approve contracts, and determine municipal policy. Proof of a current rabies vaccination from a veterinarian is required to purchase a license. Animal licenses may be purchased by mail or online from PetData. The fine for failing to display a rabies tag is $50.00 and a $50.00 fine may be levied if your animal does not have a valid rabies vaccination. The new state-of-the-art campus strengthens the town’s emergency services and public works capabilities.
On March 13, 2025, the Town of Mint Hill hosted an open house to mark the completion of its new Public Services Facility. The event welcomed residents for self-guided tours of the newly constructed campus, designed to enhance the town’s emergency response, infrastructure services, and public safety. As Mint Hill continues to grow, so too does the need for expanded public services. This new Mint Hill Public Services Facility ensures the town is well-equipped for the future, offering modern, efficient spaces for first responders and public works teams. Situated on 18.7 acres, the facility adds over 23,000 square feet of purpose-built space to support Mint Hill’s growing community. The construction of the Public Services Facility was no small feat. Over 62,000 man-hours were logged throughout the project, reflecting the scale and complexity of the work involved. More than 280 inspections were conducted to ensure quality and safety (over 100 of those dedicated to the fire station alone). 30

Interestingly, the project faced a unique challenge early on with a 12-week delay due to the migration of the spotted bat. Despite this unexpected obstacle, the team stayed on track and successfully completed the facility on time. With the completion of this milestone project, Mint Hill has taken a bold step toward future-readiness by ensuring its public services can meet the needs of today, tomorrow, and the years to come.

With the app, users can see the location of their child’s bus, confirm when the bus arrives at the stop or school, and receive push notifications or email alerts when the bus is approaching, has been substituted, or if there’s other important information. To get started, simply download the app and sign up using CMS’ district code (73877) along with your student's ID number. If you don’t have the ID number, contact your child’s school. Then follow the prompts to create your account and begin tracking.
Passing a stopped school bus could be a very costly mistake. You are not permitted to pass a school bus that is stopped with its red lights flashing. A first offense/violation is a Class 1 misdemeanor, with a mandatory minimum $500 fine. It's also a 5-point insurance hit, which will increase your rates substantially. Slow down to the posted speed limit in a school zone. Speeding in a school zone will cost violators $250.

HOME DELIVERED MEAL PROGRAM Mecklenburg County offers homedelivered meals to residents age 60+ who are assessed as “homebound” due to physical or mental limitations and lack someone to help with meals. This service supports seniors in staying independent at home and is available short-term (up to 12 weeks) for those recovering from hospitalization or rehabilitation.
