Again, the Droughtmaster National Bull Sale, Australia’s largest Droughtmaster multi-vendor sale, has delivered some record results with 414 bulls offered, a 95% clearance rate, an average of $14,265 and gross proceeds of $5,634,500. These results are up significantly on previous years. The sale was heavily marketed across several mediums including TV, radio, social media, electronic mail distributions, print and digital media and through some of Droughtmaster Australia’s partnerships.

The two jam packed selling days at the CQLX facility were well supported, and the sale also attracted a large following on Stocklive.

The results from Stocklive highlight the benefits of providing the market with an online buying platform, particularly now with restrictions on travel movements as a result of COVID. I would like to thank all of the vendors for presenting a quality line up of bulls and also to all the buyers who supported the sale. The reputation of this breed in the beef industry continues to go from strength to strength.
