This Assignment You Will Have To Create An Over The Counter Drug In this assignment, you will have to create an over-the-counter (OTC) drug. Your company is a startup with no other products on the market. You will need to name your drug and describe its packaging. Additionally, you must identify the target market for the OTC and explain why this OTC would be suitable for that market. This is an individual assignment, and collaboration with classmates is not allowed. The OTC drug you create should be composed of at least one ingredient from the specified categories, with a minimum of two ingredients from the provided list. You cannot add ingredients outside of the list, nor can you create additional elements beyond those specified. Your drug must serve one of the listed purposes, such as pain relief, cold/allergy, diarrhea, sleep aid, weight loss, energy, or laxative. Design a packaging box for your OTC drug. The front of the box must include the following elements: the name of the OTC drug, its intended use, list of ingredients, an advertising slogan, a visual image or illustration, dosage suggestions, and your company name. The back and side of the box can include additional information such as the product's history, a mascot if desired, and other relevant details. Use a separate page for each side of the box. Describe the target market for your OTC drug using segmentation bases from chapter 5, such as demographic, geographic, psychographic, and behavioral factors. Clearly explain how your product appeals to this specific target market with detailed reasoning, limiting the explanation to one page.

Paper For Above instruction Creating a successful over-the-counter (OTC) drug involves strategic product development, packaging, and targeting the appropriate consumer base. As a startup company, developing an OTC product requires careful consideration of ingredients, branding, and market segmentation to ensure its appeal and effectiveness in the competitive OTC landscape. Product Concept and Formulation The first step in this process is selecting the appropriate drug category and ingredients. For this example, let us consider an OTC cold and allergy medication. The drug will be formulated as a cherry-flavored, fast-melt tablet to appeal to consumers seeking quick relief from symptoms such as congestion, sneezing, and runny nose. The core active ingredient will be an antihistamine, such as diphenhydramine, to combat allergic reactions, along with a decongestant like pseudoephedrine to relieve nasal congestion. To enhance
