There Are Two Videos For This Weekhere Is the Video For Organization

There are two videos for this week. Here is the video for Organizational politics: Here is the link for question 7-8 to make it easier to find. Here is the link for the Conflict video. Throughout the video, there will be “stop the video” slides with discussion questions. These questions are meant to spark discussion and do not require extensive research or formal responses. Students should open their word processor and type their answers to each question, labeling each response with the question number (e.g., question 1-3).

Paper For Above instruction

The assignment involves engaging with two videos related to organizational behavior, specifically focusing on organizational politics and conflict within organizations. The instructor will provide links to both videos, which serve as the primary sources for the discussion. During the playback of these videos, the instructor will insert "stop the video" slides that prompt students to answer specific questions. These questions are designed to facilitate understanding and discussion rather than assess rote memorization or require comprehensive research.

Students are expected to participate actively by watching the videos and responding thoughtfully to each stopping point. The responses should reflect personal understanding, interpretations, or reactions to the questions posed during the videos. Since the questions are discussion-oriented, answers can be informal but should demonstrate critical thinking and engagement with the material.

To complete the assignment, students should prepare answers to each question as they appear, ideally typing them directly into a word processing document for ease of submission. Each answer should be clearly labeled with the corresponding question number to ensure clarity and organization. This approach allows for a straightforward review and encourages reflective participation.

Understanding organizational politics involves recognizing the subtle ways power, influence, and personal agendas shape organizational behaviors and decisions. Students should consider examples of political behavior within organizations, such as coalition building, influence tactics, or information manipulation, and reflect on how these behaviors impact organizational effectiveness and culture.

Similarly, exploring organizational conflict requires analyzing the sources of conflict, whether interpersonal, structural, or task-related, and examining strategies for conflict resolution. Students should think about real-life scenarios where conflict may arise and consider how effective communication,

negotiation, and conflict management practices can foster positive outcomes.

This exercise promotes critical reflection on the complex dynamics of organizations and prepares students to navigate and manage organizational politics and conflict constructively in their professional lives. It emphasizes the importance of understanding human behavior and social dynamics within workplace environments.

Overall, the activity is designed to enhance comprehension of organizational behavior topics through active listening, critical thinking, and personal insight. By engaging with the videos and thoughtfully responding to the questions, students develop a deeper awareness of the nuanced social processes that influence organizational success and individual well-being.
