In this assignment, I will explore my experiences and perceptions related to three specific topics: evidence-based practice, the ethical considerations in research, and the role of MSN graduates in nursing research, as framed by the course guidance.

I learned that EBP is an essential approach for integrating clinical expertise with the best available research evidence to improve patient outcomes. A key learning moment was understanding the importance of formulating clinical questions using the PICO (Population, Intervention, Comparison, Outcome) framework. This skill helps in conducting focused literature searches,

critical appraisal of evidence, and implementing evidence-based interventions. For example, I noticed that applying EBP in my clinical practice could significantly enhance patient safety by reducing reliance on outdated practices and integrating the latest research findings.
