The Images Section Focuses On The Six Different Images Of Managing C The “Images” section focuses on the six different images of managing change and how each “approach” to change affects all that follows in its implementation and continued support. Pick three of the “images of change” explained in the Week 2 lecture from the grid, and analyze how those particular “images” would affect the diagnosis and implementation processes in two selected companies’ change plans. Your task involves several steps: Using information from your topic proposal and incorporating feedback from your professor, expand on the facts and details of your original proposal. Thoroughly describe the changes within each company, explaining their impacts and identifying who was affected. Compare the similarities and differences between the changes in both companies. Review the grid and select three images of change. Complete the grid blocks for these images using outlines, bullet points, and rough ideas on how each impacted both companies’ change processes. In a Word document, analyze, compare, and contrast these three images, discussing how their behaviors during change could differ or be similar, and how these differences may have influenced the success or failure of the changes in each company. Identify which image or combination of images would have most effectively facilitated the change, and justify your choice. Based on your research and understanding of the companies’ change outcomes, hypothesize which image most closely resembled the actual change agent’s approach during the change process. This paper should demonstrate how management integrated one or more of the six images of managing change (Chapters 2 and 3), evaluate the effectiveness of the change, and suggest what management could have done differently to enhance the success of the change initiatives. The paper is a compare-and-contrast analysis of both companies' experiences with these images and the change process.
