The project must be a new, real project that you will plan, not yet started, aimed at delivering a service such as IT software development, healthcare delivery, or fundraising. The project should include an international element—either executed outside the United States or involving suppliers or resources from abroad. It cannot be an existing or previously used project. Your project should be sufficiently complex to demonstrate mastery of course objectives and cover all required project management components.
