The Following Topics Will Demonstrate What The Discussion Is About

The following topic(s) will demonstrate what the discussion is about, but feel free to branch off or expand on the topics. This week, we will not be writing in our Reflection Journals, so make this discussion count. Mahatma Gandhi famously said, “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” Reflect back over your experiences throughout the past eight weeks. In light of what you have learned, what new ideas did you discover about the idea of community? What change do you want to see in the world, and what assets and interests do you have to make change happen in your community? 150 words minimum.

Paper For Above instruction

Over the past eight weeks, my understanding of community has deepened significantly. Initially, I perceived community as merely a group of people living in the same area, but I have come to realize that a true community is rooted in shared values, mutual support, and collective responsibility. This realization has been shaped by various discussions, readings, and personal reflections during this period. I have learned that fostering a sense of belonging and empowerment is essential for creating meaningful change within a community. Inspired by Gandhi’s words, I believe that individual actions can indeed spark larger societal shifts. The change I desire in the world is greater social inclusion and environmental sustainability. To contribute to this, I possess strong communication skills, empathy, and a passion for environmental advocacy. By leveraging these assets, I aim to initiate community projects focused on sustainability and social cohesion, encouraging others to participate and amplify our collective impact. Ultimately, meaningful change begins with individual commitment and collaborative effort.
