FINANCIAL PLANNING SERVICES Finding the right financial adviser starts with knowing exactly what type of service you require from them. Some will specialise in certain areas and have expert knowledge in those arenas, while others will offer a broader and more generalised service. There are three main types of service that may be offered.

Financial Planning Under the broad umbrella of financial planning, a comprehensive range of services focus on all aspects of financial well-being, including investments, savings and insurance.

Investment Advisory Investment advisory services work with clients to help them navigate the markets, choose the best investments to fit their individual investor profile, and meet investment objectives. This can include working out which investments should be in which accounts.

Financial planners can also help with succession planning, to ensure the handover of a family business goes smoothly upon retirement or death.

Retirement Income Planning Retirement income planning services concentrate on the coordination of multiple aspects of planning to ensure financial comfort after finishing work. It looks at investments, pensions, wealth accumulation, taxes, social security and more in light of a predicted or desired retirement date.
