JIM LIPE

Jim ha trabajado en el diseño de campos de golf durante más de 35 años y ha viajado a cinco continentes y 18 países para su trabajo de diseño. En 1972 obtuvo una Maestría en Arquitectura del Paisaje de la Universidad Estatal de Louisiana. Su carrera profesional comenzó con William Newcomb Associates Golf Course Design en 1971. En 1984, se unió a Jack Nicklaus Golf Services y se desempeñó como asociado senior de diseño durante más de 26 años. Actualmente, Jim es presidente y propietario de su propia empresa de diseño llamada Jim Lipe Design, Inc. Jim cree que el objetivo principal del golf es la recreación, por lo que su iniciativa de diseño definitiva es crear una atmósfera de interés, diversión y aventura.

Jim has worked in golf courses design for more than 35 years and has traveled to five continents and 18 countries for his design work. In 1972 he obtained a Master in Landscape Architecture from Louisiana State University. His professional career started with William Newcomb Associates Golf Course Design in 1971. In 1984, he joined Jack Nicklaus Golf Services and served as a senior design associate for more than 26 years.

Today, Jim is president and owner of his own design firm called Jim Lipe Design, Inc. Jim believes that golf's primary purpose is recreation, so his ultimate design initiative is to create an atmosphere of interest, fun, and adventure.
