Week #15 – 2024

Dear Members,

This week I am writing from beautiful Thailand while our Chairman Bo is still on mv ABB Vanessa sailing on the high seas and Heidi is back in Vienna. In the last two weeks we have begun hosting online one-to-one meetings with members again, see below for the next available meetings you can sign up for.

The next in-person meeting we are hosting will be our Africa Regional Meeting in Accra, Ghana on 6-7 June, 2024. Join the meeting to gain more insight into the region and make valueable connections. Contact Heidi to signup.

We will also be present at Breakbulk in Europe and we will be hosting a lunch for members in Houston on the day that Breakbulk Americas begins. Check the rest of the newsletter for more information on upcoming events.

Chance Rendezvous on the High Seas

At this moment our network Chairman encountered mv Trove of Hoegh Autoliners (Service Provider to CLC Projects) in the Indian Ocean East of Mauritius while onboard mv ABB Vanessa.

Kamor Logistics Handled

2000mt of Dismantled Jack

Up Rig Cargo with 35 Skids & 3 Containers from Ashdod, Israel to Moerdijk, Netherlands

The Kamor Logistics Team provided full service, from ‘free-on-truck’ at vessel’s side at load-port to ‘freeon-board’ at destination, including a chartered-in General Cargo Coaster Vessel, pre-carriage formalities and arrangements. The team managed the loading, stowage in vessel’s hold and lashing at load port according to the preapproved plan.

Despite the stormy weather and rough seas, the rigorous lashing and securing methods ensured safe arrival at the destination, to clients full satisfaction.

OOG+ Shipped a Rotor from Shanghai to Diliskelesi, Turkey via Breakbulk Service

The Rotor is a critical component for a Fertilizer Granulation Line. The cargo was 16m long with a diameter of 2.8m and weighed 20 metric tons.

This Breakbulk shipment involved three heavy dryers with dimensions of 21500 * 4006 * 4006mm and weight of 85mt each.
