Meg Braem (Playwright)
Meg Braem’s plays have been nominated for a Governor General’s Literary Award and won the Alberta Literary Award for Drama. Meg’s work has been presented at the Citadel Theatre, Theatre Calgary, The Belfry Theatre, Sage Theatre, The Maggie Tree, Workshop West Playwrights’ Theatre, Atomic Vaudeville, and Intrepid Theatre. Meg is a past writer-in-residence at the University of Alberta, the University of Calgary, the Calgary Public Library and member of the Citadel Theatre Playwrights’ Forum. Most recently, Meg’s play The Resurrectionists was produced by Larriken Entertainment and toured the Yukon. Meg Braem is an assistant professor at Mount Royal University.
