Shri Shakti Surakshit Beti Abhiyaan 51% of women surveyed in Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai felt unsafe while traveling on roads while 73% said that they were scared of traveling at night. In this so called equal society, women are still left far behind when it comes to safety and protection.

It is therefore, the need of an hour that women must create a safe environment for themselves. In concern with the present situation, SHRI SHAKTI MANCH- Women Empowerment Program under DR. ARCHIKA FOUNDATION put an effort and initiated SHRI SHAKTI SURAKSHIT BETI ABHIYAAN. It is launched to let women of our nation learn how to defend themselves and come out of any difficult situation.

The Abhiyaan has been launched in different schools of Delhi and is aimed to spread globally. The trainers train girls with special techniques to protect themselves and the use of immediate present equipments like comb, pen and pepper spray. These camps not only train women to protect themselves but also boost their confidence.

It is high time that women realize their ‘SHAKTI’ and live a fearless life.

O

n the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima, a three days meditation camp was organized under the divine guidance of Dr. Archika Didi.

Like every instrument in a symphony, every heart synced together to the rhythm of God during the meditation session. Spreading the message of spirituality to promote peace, love and harmony Dr. Didi explained that the lifestyle in present scenario is of instability and restlessness, always running to fulfill the desires and necessities. The mind is never stable and always occupied with one or the other thought. She said do not fight with or stop these thoughts. Just see them as the spectator as you see traffic, people on road but you do not attach to them personally.

And when you learn to focus these thoughts only on GOD then it is meditation. She taught many relaxation techniques to get rid of stress as only the calm mind can move ahead on the divine journey. Then she said PRAYER is the other way of adhering to God and attaining positivity. Then comes the most important message for the occasion of Guru Purnima that the Guru is the song of God and only with his blessings one can attain divinity. It is only him who transfigures the consciousness of the disciple, destroys the proud and arrogance, converting him into pure and serene soul. Sadguru is the nectar who appraises the shishya with his capabilities and blesses with peace, joy and happiness.

This year marked the launching of our new project “Shri Shakti Surakshit Beti Abhiyaan” a self defence training program for girls, conducted in different schools all over India. Principals from different schools joined the program. Dr. Preeti Agrawal, Mayor North Delhi, appreciated and praised the step taken by Dr. Archika Foundation.

Lighting of Shri Shakti Surakshit Beti Abhiyaan Mashaal by the divine hands of Dr. Archika Didi, Principals and the committee members of the abhiyaan was the main attraction of the event.

A magical performance by the world renowned & Guinness book record holder group “Flaming Wheels” –a group of differently abled artists, representing the power of Women – “SHRI SHAKTI”, was the main attraction of this event.

SHRI SHAKTI SAMMAAN 2017 SHRI SHAKTI SAMMAAN to honor women dignitaries was followed in order to give sincere salutation to their hard work, in their respective fields, through which they have acquired the high stature in their professions.

Dr. Soma Ghosh Art & Culture Dr. Soma Ghosh is the daughter of Freedom fighter, Shri Manmohan Chakraverty and adopted daughter of Bharat Ratna Ustad Bismillah Khan.

She was conferred upon with Padma Shri Award by the Govt. of India on 26th January, 2016 and made a member of the National Implementation Committee for the centenary celebrations of Bharat Ratna Ustam Bismillah Khan Sahab.

Acharya Pratishtha Yog Guru & Classical Dancer Respected Acharya Pratishtha ji is an internationally acclaimed Yoga Guru, Indian Classical Dance Exponent & Guru, Author, and a Spiritual Healer.

She has given more than 32 television shows on yoga and dance on leading television channels including ABP News, Zee News, News 24, Aaj Tak, Headlines Today, Doordarshan etc. Innumerable yoga workshop and classical dance performances worldwide including USA, China, Japan, SouthAfrica, Indonesia, Malaysia, Yemen, Qatar etc.

Leena Kapoor Educationist Work Experience of 25 years, in the field of education more than 2500 hrs. of training experience in soft skill training, academic leadership, student leadership. Corporate leadership & great association with renowned institutions like DPS, Doon School, St. Thomas School, Presentation convent.

Parull Mahaajan Social Worker Parull Mahaajan is an Inspiring Lady who wears many hats at the same time. A lawyer, interior designer specialising in green and sustainable designs, Advisor Delhi literature festival and social Activist working for multiple causes like Environment conservation, Swachh Bharat, Women Empowerment. Parull works very closely with the Govt. in promoting the various social causes and is also the Advisor in Bharat Niti.

Shweta Chaudhary Indian shooter Shweta Chaudhry is an Indian shooter who competes in the 10 metre air pistol and 25 metre sports pistol events. Chaudhary winning gold and silver medals at the 8th Asian Airgun Championship 2015 In 2014, at the 2Ol4Asian Games in Incheon, Chaudhary won the bronze medal air pistol event.

The additional features gracing the event were: His Holiness Shri Sudhanshuji Maharaj, while showering his divine blessings said motive of Shri Shakti Surakshit Beti Abhiyaan, is to provide security to the girls, to stop female feticide and women can live with dignity.

Enlivening Words by Dr. Archika Didi, while expressing Shri Shakti Surakshit Beti Abhiyaan, were “it is the moral duty of society to protect and encourage the daughters who have the capability of bringing pride to the country.�

Also, the event was graced by the divine presence of Gurumaa.

The gracious presence of Yoga Guru Padam Shri Bharat Bhushan Ji was the feather to the event.

The event was organized on 4th August 2017, 4.00 PM onwards, at Constitution Club, Rafi Marg, Connaught Place, New Delhi-110001 (Behind RBI Bank).

CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES Milk & fruits Distribution

15th July 2017 at Omkareshwar Mahadev Mandir

On various occasions the children come to Mandir to get the Prasad, as there are many underprivileged camps around the temple. Therefore Dr. Archika Foundation organized distribution of fruits & milk for the needy in the auspicious month of Shravan. The children were happy on receiving a variety of fruits, most importantly because they were on their way back to home from school.

Onkareshwar Mahadev Mandir

Dr. Archika Foundation conducts regular classes of kids’ yoga on every Saturday and Sunday at Omkareshwar Mahadev Temple. In these classes children participate with great enthusiasm. In addition to practicing various asanas, focus is on developing children’s concentration with their overall development. Kids are moving forward attaining mastery of yoga. On the sacred occasion of Guru Purnima the children presented the act of Ganapati Vandana through yoga.

Dr. Archika didi’s student Nandani is progressing well in yoga, her beautiful presentation not only won the hearts of all presented there but also was showered with special blessings from the Guruvar.
