By Test the Best Cadenhead’s Old Raj Gin is distinctive in that it contains a measure of saffron, the rare and costly spice derived from the crocus flower. In addition to a slightly spicy flavour, this also imparts a pale yellow colour to Old Raj. The addition of saffron is undertaken personally by the Company master blender in order to ensure a consistency in flavour and colour each time Old Raj is bottled. Available at 46% and 55% ABV.

hollow by the bay.’ It would remain in family hands for the next 139 years. One of its most famous patrons is Prince Charles and his distinctive coat of arms is carried on every bottle.

COURVOISIER®

Created by Yvan Vindevogel, a famous Belgian pharmacist who was very interested in the healing aspects of gin. The name Copperhead not only highlights the copper alembic used for its production but also the Agkistrodon contortrix snake (AKA Copperhead) which is the pharmacies symbol of health

This super-premium 40% ABV English gin that brims with botanical and berry flavours, has always recommended the Brockmans Bramble as part of its repertoire.

Courvoisier® has come to embody the refined optimism and joie de vivre that defined the Paris Golden Age. In fact it was the selected cognac that toasted and celebrated the spectacular opening of the Eiffel Tower in 1889. It is also true that Courvoisier became Emperor Napoleon III’s official cognac.

Named for a sea beast of myth and legend, The Kraken is aged for around 2 years in ex American whiskey barrels, making a bold, rich, black and smooth liquid. While the smooth taste of the Kraken lends itself to be enjoyed as sipping rum, it can also be enjoyed as a key ingredient in traditional cocktails, or create a perfect storm by adding ginger beer and lime.

LAPHROAIG

Donald and Alexander Johnston, founded their distillery on the Islay’s south coast in 1815. They called it Laphroaig after its location, ‘broad
