Welcome to the 2020 Scottish Bar and Pub Awards. If you had told me a year ago that we would be doing this virtually for our 25th anniversary I would have held my hands up in dismay. If you had told me 25 years ago I would have thought you were on a different planet. But here we are.

We are celebrating because we must not lose sight of the fact that we are a resilient industry. We have some great operators, pubs, bars, restaurants and hotels and fabulous people working in the industry - many of whom have gone above and beyond during this time.

We’ve have also tried to keep the spirit of the event alive by keeping the prize winners (unless almost impossible) secret, and by organising some entertainment for after the awards which are being presented by Bev Lyons.

There are various zoom rooms to pop into for some music, a quiz and karaoke – and you can network and catch up with some familiar faces in these rooms too.

When we are back to be able to celebrate in person we will host a party... I promise.

Please bear with us over the course of the awards - I am sure that there will be few blips but hopefully that will only add to the fun.

Thanks to everyone that helped - it has been a journey and hopefully the worst is behind us and we can look forward to 2021.

Welcome 7pm - The Venue opens

This year, the awards show will be held virtually on Sparkle Space. The venue will open at 7pm on Wednesday, November 25th. Make sure to open the site on Google Chrome and that your wifi is strong. This may mean restricting other household computers for the duration of the awards show.

Welcome from our Speakeasy Bouncer 7.30pm - Awards Ceremony presented by Bev Lyons.

9pm - Formalities end
