The Girls Cross Country Team at their Region meet. The girls were awarded the second place trophy behind Armuchee but due to a scoring mishap the Lady Dragons were actually the Region Champions. The Boys Cross Country Team finished second behind Rockmart. Both teams competed in the Class AA State Championship.

Above is the Advanced Chorus group. They did many things such as Honor Chorus, Select Ensemble, and Concerts. Most of them have been singing for many years and began Chorus in the 4th grade.

Some students from the Beginning Chorus group were allowed to sing with the Advanced Chorus for some of the songs they sang.

The male members were singing their parts at the christmas concert. Many of them had their music memorized where others preferred to hold their music.

Malone also taught a beginning chorus class to those who wanted to learn how to sing and become an Advanced Chorus member or Select Ensemble.

Reba McGee and Judson Whitfield were the lead characters in The Taming of the Shrew

Casey Kean was a student director of James and the Giant Peach. This allowed him to get hands on experience on directin and handling a cast.

The cast of last years preformance of The Taming of the Shrew took their final bow 1 after preforming it on Friday and Saturday night. The students spend months preparing for this performance.

Kayla Ayers and Caleb Cole both had solos in the Ballad of the show. Caleb was our 8th grade Mellophone player and Kayla was the only Picolo player.

;For 10 years the Pepperell High School Key Club has been: working with the Marines during the Christmas holidays when they distribute toys and food to patrons m need. The day is long, beginning at 6 a.m. before the sun rises. Students in HS 101 classes had a rare opportunity to interact with professionals from the community. Mr. Pilsbury, community coach, helped arrange Kiwanis members and other community members to come to the school and conduct mock interviews with students. In the HS 101 classes students learned valuable information about dress, language, posture, and how to conduct themselves with and among professionals.

11-Alive and The Great Hang-Up

It was a pleasure for Pepperell High School

SADD to be chosen by I I-Alive, from the entire state of Georgia, to be the Kick-Off school for its new program. I believe that the Kick-Off Party was a huge success for them and us.

Any time we can get information to our students that can save their lives, it is a "Win-Win" situation. The students certainly win, but our SADD Chapter is also making a difference in the

lives of their peers.

Having coached the boy's golf team for eight years, I decided to expand the program and add a girl's team in 2008. A core of ladies approached me expressing interest in being members of this team. I could have never asked for a better group of people to begin this endeavor. Today these ladies are seniors and were the foundation of the team that began play that year.
