Mr. Laney has been principal at P.H.S. far five years, and he has done a great job. He enjoys spending time with young people. When he is not with young people, he can be found boating, swimming, or skiing. Mr. Laney has a ll.A. degree from Shorter and an M.Ed. and Education Specialist degree from West Georgia.

Mr. Gilmer, the assistant principal at P.H.S., has many important responsibilities. He is in charge of enforcing disciplinary rules, and also helps organize many extracurricular activities. In his spare time, Mr. Gilmer enjoys hunting, reading, gardening, football, and baseball. He has a degree as an Education Specialist. Ms. Carlisle had many responsibilities last year. This year they have doubled. Aside from teaching English 101, she is now part time assistant principal. In the past she has taught French, as well as having sponsored Journalism, and the Scholars' llowl. Ms. Carlisle has all.A. degree from llerry and an M.Ed. from West Georgia. Mrs. Moore has been an asset to Pepperell far many years. She has taught and sponsored various school-related activities, such as cheerleading and Varsity llasketball. As counselor, Mrs. Moore has many different responsibilities. Planning schedules far almost 1,000 students is no easy job, but she handles it with the greatest of ease. She has an M.A. in Ed. and a Counseling degree from West Georgia. Mr. Harper serves as counselor at P.H.S. To graduating seniors, as well as underclassmen, he is a valuable asset to this school. Mr. Harper has an Ed. Specialist degree from Georgia State University. In his spare time, he enjoys sailing, snorkeling, and videography. Mrs. Holsomback is " in the money" at P.H.S. She is the bookkeeper far many clubs, and is in charge of all school-related business transactions. She has been at P .H.S. far 38 years. In her spare time, Mrs. Holsomback enjoys arts and crafts. She is a graduate of Rome llusiness College. The faculty and administration, as a whole, participated in a variety of activities throughout the entire school year. They really strutted their stuff and showed that they had just as much spirit as the student body. Some of the activities they participated in were the annual volleyball game, which is sponsored by the senior class, fund raisers far various organizations, and this year's cheerleading routine. Several of the teachers volunteered to make spectacles of themselves in order to provoke enthusiasm. They have participated in the relay races held at almost every pep rally, and have been awarded the spirit stick often. The teachers at P.H.S. have definitely shown pride in the school.
