Special Edition – Strong Opinions Loosely Held: Part 4 Science, Psychology, Misinformation, Vaccines, and Prosocial Ways to Respond Dr. Chris Stout Preface I started with writing two pieces (Part 1 and Part 2) from a place of concern, spurred by a few reader comments in response to my weekly Newsletter. I have a wonderfully diverse group of friends, some of whom post what I consider may indicate a lacking in an understanding of science or public health concerning the pandemic. Working to keep things timely, I next compiled Part 3, and here is Part 4. I’m suspecting there may be more. We’ll see. I’m sure those comments were meant to be well-intentioned, but it nevertheless upset me. I did not want to create a stir or upset a friend by responding with a long form explanation as to what may have been an off-the-cuff repost of something that had resonated with their point of view, but
