The Kid Warrior

Once upon a time, there was a kid named Rahul. He lived in a small village, near the sea. Villagers used to believe that demons lived in that sea. Rahul was supposedly a brave child. He didn't believe in demons and ghosts. One day he decided to go to that sea where demons were said to live. During night when everybody was asleep, he sneaked from his house and went to the sea.

He was not afraid so he loudly said, 'I'm not scared of you.' Just then a demon came out of the sea. He had red eyes, big teeth and long hair. The demon smiled and asked, 'Are you sure?' Rahul was very scared, but when he tried to run he froze. He tried very hard but was not able to run and started crying. The demon tried to eat him but the brave boy fought with the demon with his full strength and successfully killed the demon with his sword that his father had gifted him. He returned home and told his mother about the demon. When the villagers came to know about the demon they didn't believe him at first but when they went to the sea shore they saw the dead body of the demon. They praised Rahul and gave him the name ‘The Kid Warrior.'

Destruction and War

The day will come, maybe years later when all the destruction makers will shake hands and will talk about 'peace'. They would do their best to make people happy, so that the public would follow them again. They would ask for forgiveness and of course many people would forgive them for the sake of humanity but how will a mother who wept on the grave of her child forgive them? Instead of forgiving them, she would ask the destruction makers: "Where were you, when my child was starving in the famine?" How will be a father whose innocent son died in the terrorism war be satisfied with the sweet words of the destruction makers? Instead of accepting the sweet words of the destruction makers, he would ask them: "Why couldn't you distinguish between guilty and innocent, when you killed my innocent son?" How will a wife, who became a widow when her husband died in an enemy attack forget her beloved husband? Instead of following the destruction makers again, she would ask them: "If you are peace lovers, then where were your sweet words regarding peace, when I became a widow?" How would those children trust anyone again after their parents got betrayed badly?

How would those siblings even smile after they lost their loving sister or brother because of the destruction makers? How would the soldier's family even believe the government after they receive the dead body of the soldier?

How will the people, the society, the nation trust them again after remembering their past deeds? They would remember the bitter promises of the past. They would be able to see what lies ahead in the future. This would cause conflicts on different ideas between different people. The people would again suffer. However, the cause of all this chaos, the destruction makers would be sitting on comfortably on their luxurious couches, shaking their heads about the social evils present in their nation and wiping their tears with money. Seeing this situation, we would remember the wise words of HG Wells that ‘If we don't end war, war will end us.’
