THE CAKE FULL OF TENSION

ENVIRONMENT

One day, I decided to bake a cake.

Let us give the souls happiness,

I learned the recipe and started to make, I poured the flour, eggs and all.

and allow them to truly rest in peace.

By simply taking a little time,

And got some tasty toppings from the mall.

When the mixture was complete, somehow it spilled on floor, What could I do? I had to make more!

When the mixture was again completed,

to keep our surroundings clean Why should the soul of nature, Suffer due to us.

Let us help restore planet earth, To the glorious place it once was.

The mobile phone rang, I went to attend it when I heard the noise 'BANG!'

Conserve water, electricity and energy, Take away the plastic, smoke and noise.

I reached the kitchen and saw a cat,

Make eternity a promising future,

Which had again spilled the mixture on mat!

For those who must live with our choice.

I made some again and put it to bake,

Let the soul of Mother Nature,

After sometime when I opened the oven,

Live in each one of us,

and saw it was a burnt cake!

Let us try to repay her,

That was so tough and I was so sad,

For all she has given us.

And the baking of cake just made me mad!

ENVIRONMENT WEEK was celebrated in the school campus from 1st June to 8th June 2018 under the theme “Think Tidy". In this regard, the school organized various cleanliness drives and various rallies to spread awareness about the importance of keeping environment clean. All the students participated enthusiastically in various awareness programmes.

A Parent Teacher Meet was held on 23 June 2018 to discuss the performance of students with their parents. The PTM was very interactive. The teachers discussed both the strengths and areas of improvements of the students.

The PTM came to an end with the conclusion that the progress of the students depends on the joint efforts of parents and teachers.

Prize Distribution ceremony was held on Thursday, 14th June 2018.The students who had scored highest marks among all nine sections in each subject were felicitated by the worthy Principal and Vice Principal. The students were given coupons worth Rs 300 and 15% discount on books sponsored by the publishing house, ‘Gulshan books’. Progress prize was awarded to students who showed improvement of grade from Term 1 to Term 2 by 20%.
