First-week after resumption of oﬄine classes post pandemic

It has been universally acknowledged, that the Covid-19 pandemic constitutes one of the darkest, if not the darkest phase in the post-war world. Education, especially, was greatly impacted as both teachers and students bore the brunt of shut schools, and the loss of interaction that physical classes entailed. Thus, when the schools resumed oﬄine education post the third wave, this year, we felt it our absolute imperative to rise to the occasion and ease the students back into oﬄine education. A fun week replete with carefully designed activities was plo ed to make students feel welcome, besides helping them prepare for the rigours of education. The activities included: Ÿ

Art based therapy: Art based therapy sessions were conducted at all levels – from primary to senior school. The students gave free vent to their imagination and sublimated their stress through artistic pieces.

Zumba Dance: This helped students to feel relaxed and enjoyed those sessions.

Laughter Therapy: During assemblies- laughter therapy and yoga sessions were conducted as laughter was in short supply throughout the preceding year of the Covid.

Theatre - Real learning takes place through experiential learning.

Role plays and skits helped children to be involved and happy.

Radio Sessions/Radio Jockey: Along with the help of trained teacher, school hired a renowned RJ to train students for the training sessions. Students participated enthusiastically in these sessions, as they loved being a RJ. VII. Group Discussions: Conducting discussions between students and teachers on various issues not only helped students to boost their conﬁdence, but gave teachers valuable insight into the opinions and views of children about their teachers, parents, and peers.

Subject wise exhibitions *have been planned to develop interest among students.

Remedial Sessions for the slow learners: Sessions were held for students who had fallen behind by involving them in integrated activities for English and Mathematics, besides recommending strategies to the parents to help the child at the academic front.

School organizes farewell for Class XII students

A poem by a student of class XI poignantly portrayed the emotions of leaving school aer a childhood spent in its loving portals. A round of games to entertain their seniors was organised by the students of class XI which included perplexing and incomprehensible magic tricks, truth & dare, and Musical Chairs.

18-02-22 As customary, the school bid a fond farewell to the outgoing batch of 2021-22, on 30 & 31 December, 2021. The event was a two-day aﬀair and an enthusiastic and sentimental Class XI played the perfect host to the Farewell for Class XII.

Yet again, the audience welcomed dancers of Class XI and a wonderful performance commenced, including solos and duo dance performances. The performances by the dancers pepped up the mood and their eﬀorts were appreciated by all.

On day-one, the event commenced with the recitation of the school prayer by a group of senior teachers, followed by a welcome speech which was given by the senior teacher, Mr. Sheikh Sajad.

Next, it was time for assigning the titles, which is perhaps the most exciting part of every farewell ceremony! The titles for best-dressed Male and female were announced and awarded the certiﬁcates.

Aer that, a comical skit was presented by the senior teachers poking fun at today's age of social media which ﬁlled every heart with humour. The mesmerizing performance by the teachers aptly set the momentum for the other stage performances of the day. The brightly arranged aﬀair was further enhanced by angelic voices of the teachers who sang a medley of popular songs to which the seniors cheered along.

In the last round of games to entertain the parting seniors, a special video presentation was played. This video included playing out of a medley of photographs of the years gone. Shrieks of excitement and clapping pierced the air as the beloved “faces of childhood” got spo ed. A video depicting the long and rich journey of the outgoing class marked the end of the evening. In nostalgia and reluctance, but with hope and aspiration, school, teachers and staﬀ bid adieu to seniors and wished them luck for all they set out to do. An eventful day organized by class XI students to give a farewell to their seniors ended with the message of not being dismayed at goodbyes. The event concluded with Vice Principal, Ms. Shafaq Afshan addressing the gathering and wishing the batch, the best for their exams and the future ahead.

Parent Orientation (Class 1st – 3rd)

Following were diﬀerent performances that showcased the multiple talents of the students of class XII. The “Talent Show” by the Dipsites again proved that they are powerhouse of talent in any ﬁeld as the performances unfolded itself on the stage.

Each session was then proceeded forward by Ms. Radifa Nazir, academic incharge who laid stress on the holistic development of the child which is the main aim and objective of the school. Furthermore, parents were briefed about the guidelines of examination pa erns and were made aware of the techniques of evaluation.

Parent Orientation of Class V 05-03-22 Parent Orientation for Class V was held by DPS Srinagar on the 25th, 26th, and 28th of February separately for diﬀerent sections to build rapport. The orientation was organized to discuss various aspects of the student's schooling, teaching methodologies being employed at the school, the school curriculum, and the subjects being taught. The presentation was commenced by the academic Incharge Ms. Monisa Khursheed who expressed her gratitude for the support extended by parents during the online mode of teaching and vowed her joy on having children back at school. Aer, she detailed parents about the purpose of orientation and stressed upon following all covid SOPs by children at school.

The concerned teachers also gave an overview of various subjects which provided the parents with an assurance that our curriculum involves hands-on learning activities which not only are a vent to the creative talents and energies of the children but also help in their all-round development. The teachers gave detailed information about the learning parameters and stressed the innovative teaching and learning methodologies followed in school. The sessions were ended by Ms Radifa who readily answered the questions of parents. The orientation programme ended on a good note with an aim of growing our children into happy, skillful, and creatively well-adjusted citizens.

DPS Srinagar conducts Cross Country Run for students 19-03-22 First school to do so aer a gap of 03 years Aer a hiatus of three years due to the pandemic, Delhi Public School Srinagar took the lead among the valley schools to organise a cross country run for students of Classes 7th and 8th on 18th March 2022. The students ran across a distance of ﬁve (05) kms from Naseem Bagh to Nishat via the foreshore road. Cross country runs aim at integrating students with nature, and instill in them discipline, direction, and order in the guise of carefree enjoyment. Skiing Courses held at Gulmarg 16-03-22 School conducted a 10 days Annual Skiing Course from 04th March to 13th March 2022 at Gulmarg under the banner of Winter Games Association of J&K. The aim of the course was to impart theoretical and practical training on all aspects of Snow Skiing and High Altitude to students and to train the students to operate in mountains/snowbound terrains. 11

DPS Srinagar collaborates with the Embassy of France as a Study Destination

An English Activity with the theme of Almond Blossom was conducted across the board on Tuesday, 22nd March 2022 to bring about the holistic development of each child. Students prepared speeches on various topics focusing on diﬀerent aspects such as the history of the tree, the medicinal usage, the cosmetic usage, the nutritional aspects, the plantations etc. They also shared informative presentations on the interactive board. A few students enthusiastically shook to rhythm of the viral song…kaccha badam.

So in pursuit of that, DPS Srinagar has taken a step forward and collaborated with the French Embassy to help students with scholarships. The online session was conducted on 15 March 2022. The meeting was joined by Ms Maryline, Ms Nidhi Chopra, from Ca m p u s Fra n ce , a n d M s Su m e ra , Co o rd i n a to r o f International aﬀairs of our school. The session commenced with an interesting activity in which students a empted to translate some English words into the French language. Students enthusiastically participated in the activity and presented the topic in a lucid and interesting manner. The school was abuzz with a range of funﬁlled and exciting activities. They spoke about

She described diﬀerent courses and study plans available in France. She also introduced students to CHARPAK BACHELOR's SCHOLARSHIP. Then a Q&A session was held in which queries of the students were addressed.

For junior classes the activity was integrated with Art and Environmental Science. Students were engaged in creating almond blossom using different colours, making hand prints and also blossoms using co on balls, thumb prints etc. Students and teachers were dressed in pink and white representing the symbolic flowers of the spring, a time of renewal and the fleeting nature of life. Children also presented their piece of art by speaking about almond blossom and springtime in Kashmir with special mention about Badamwari where the early bloom is the source of a raction for nature lovers.

In the end, Ms Sumera extended a vote of thanks and gratitude to Ms Maryline and Ms Nidhi Chopra for taking out their time and brieﬁng our students about France as a study destination. Overall, the session was very informative as well as fun-ﬁlled.

Self-Care Sessions using Art Therapy

But even before COVID-19 complicated their lesson plans, teachers were struggling. Structured, communitybased art therapy interventions provide a venue for collective expression, normalizing responses, and identifying those in need of more intensive care. Against this backdrop, Delhi Public School, Srinagar organized an advanced therapeutic

The dramatic club of Delhi Public School Srinagar presented and enacted a street play 'Acche din Ayenge' at the second edition of 'Spring Theatre Festival'. The play was wri en and directed by Sajid Reshi – the dramatics teacher of the school. The festival was organised by Actors Creative Theatre (ACT) in collaboration with the J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages (JKAACL) at the fabled theatre – Tagore Hall. A large audience including renowned theatre personalities watched the play and appreciated the performers. Manzoor Ahmad, a renowned theatre expert likened them to “NSD trained actors” and declared that “the way they presented

workshop based on the theme “Through the cracks, the light shines” in which around 100 teachers enthusiastically volunteered from all the Departments from March 14th to 25th, 2022. The aim of the workshop was to a ain a long-term positive mental outlook for cultivating creative solutions, as well as providing a renewed sense of agency and resolution. Mr. Vikramjeet Sinha, an Art Based Therapist /Stage Actor and Director based in New Delhi, led the teachers through an art directive, to help them process and understand their emotions. Mr. Vikramjeet Sinha smashed the clay pot moments aer showing the teachers it in mint condition. The demonstration had a deeper purpose. The pot is symbolic of humans as they enter the world – unblemished and unbroken. But humans, like these pots, encounter circumstances that can chip away at them or cause deep fractures. He also worked on creating puppets with teachers to facilitate a space of performance for young children, transcend didactic teaching styles, and bring about skillful ways of communicating to young ones about life issues and lightness.

Students of grade I and II visit farmhouse 06-04-22 Planting trees connect children with nature and shows that their hard work and care can make a diﬀerence in the world. In this endeavour, Delhi Public School, Srinagar organised “A day out at farmhouse” for students and teachers of class 1st and 2nd on 2nd & 4th April 2022 respectively. The day began with a message about planting trees to save the environment. Teachers made children aware of natural life, weather, and Mother Nature. Children were excited to know about diﬀerent plants and the useful things we get from

Ms. Ina has won the National Award for Meeting Manjit, a documentary she produced on Manjit Bawa. The Portrait of an Artist in the World on Paresh Maity and Neami Ghosh is her most recent publication. In her interaction with the students, Ms. Ina pitched a presentation showcasing her works and achievements. Sharing some insights about her journey with the students she said that she began by writing about the artist and then her next step was curation. She has curated the works of several wellknown artists in India. Commenting on the session she said that she believes, she has started a long association with the school and will be visiting the campus on a regular basis.

DPS, Srinagar organizes a webinar with Ashoka University

The visit to the farmhouse provided an opportunity for children to connect with nature. It was a hand on experience for them to learn in a fun and practical way about trees and the role they play in the health of the environment and the community. Global Youth Service Day is the largest service event in the world and is celebrated each year in over 100 countries.

Solo singing competition held from grade 5th to 8th 21-04-22 Music is the language of the spirit. It opens the secret of life bringing peace, abolishing strife. Kahlil Gibran An astounding and spectacular musical event- Solo singing competition was held on 20 April in indoor stadium for grade 5 to 8 in two sessions. Children from every section participated with great zeal and presented mesmerizing melodies. The event was organised to nurture young artists and provide them with a platform to showcase their talent. Every child performed with ardour. The enthusiasm and excitement during the program knew no bounds. Audience was excited and jubilant while supporting the participants.

Hence, on the event of Global Youth Service Day, the Srinagar chapter organized an activity day with the children of Hanfiya Islamic Educational Institute, Chandhara Village. The School has been adopted by DPS, Srinagar with an aim to enhance the learning environment of these school students at the physical as well as psychological level. The motive of the school is to work towards the be erment of the children at the local school by providing them quality education and be er infrastructure to meet its goal. The school harbors about 190 students from classes Pre-nursery to 8th who belong to the lower socio-economic section. DPS, Srinagar has extended support to this school in the areas of infrastructural development, provision of educational and learning resources, stationery etc. incrementally, on a regular basis from the past nine years. A group of 24 students from DPS, Srinagar planned and scheduled the activities for the day of service dedicated to children of Hanfiya Islamic Educational Institute. These youth volunteers worked together in creating an inclusive event harmonizing the theme of Global Youth Service Day 2022, “Serve, Smile and Share Together”. With a common goal to make an impact on the students of this local school, through youth service and to give them a break from their academic oriented curriculum, youth volunteers from DPS, Srinagar gathered to spend a day with these under privileged children and to engage them in some fun-filled activities & at the same time to build stronger interpersonal skills, foster

Aer a brief round of the school, the guests met the Principal, Ms. Shafaq Afshan who warmly welcomed them to the school and conveyed her happiness to the guests. Both the principals had a detailed interaction on strengthening cordial ties between the two schools and furthering educational opportunities for the students at both the schools. They discussed ways in which collaboration and partnerships could be developed and strengthened.

All 190 students from the local school took part in the activity day conducted on 16 April 2022 from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. 24 volunteers along with the coordinator of International Affairs, DPS Srinagar, Ms. Syed Sumera from the school took part in the activity day. The group of 190 children was further divided into smaller groups on the basis of their age and each group was headed by a group leader, accompanied by 2-3 volunteers, who interacted and conducted the activities with their assigned group. The activities included painting competition, calligraphy competition, storytelling, poetry recitation, singing, making origami, playing passing-the-parcel, racing, badminton etc. They distributed materials to conduct these activities, taught them the art and cra and also helped them throughout the activity sessions. The youth volunteers also distributed stationary kits including pencils, sharpeners, erasers, scales, etc. Also refreshments were arranged for the children. The school also provided sports equipment like footballs, skipping ropes, badminton rackets etc. for the purpose of donation. The local school teachers also took part in the activities so as to make the day more interactive and fun-filled. The children worked with great enthusiasm and the volunteers displayed great leadership skills by taking proper charge of their particular group. Youth volunteers believed that it was a real-life learning experience. They expressed that they learnt how service learning provides the connection between the academic content of the classroom and the real world and helps link teachers, administrators, parents, community members, and students together. At the end of the day, the children of the local school and its staff members gave wonderful feedback of their overall experience during the day and urged them to conduct such activity days more frequently with their children.

The day was celebrated with fervor, zest and enthusiasm in the school. A wide medley of activities were enacted to commemorate the all-round achievements of students as well as staﬀ. The day began formally with the rendition of the school prayer to invoke the guiding spirit of the school, and usher in an aura of peace and gratitude.

Although, results were unexpected as we were hoping to get the ﬁrst prize. Delhi Public School, Srinagar, nevertheless, bagged the Runner's up trophy and Madiha Tariq was declared as the best speaker by the jury.

Following the prayer, as a mark of gratitude Kiran Dhar and Vijay Dhar were felicitated by the school and presented a “Halo of Wisdom and Dedication” Award to honour and recognize their service in the establishment of school.

He has been in the industry since 1992. He started his professional career as a Network Consultant in Los Angeles, California. He has since worked on prestigious network implementations around the world. Mr. Khawar has been delivering seminars and training sessions all around the world for the past 26 years. Some of the countries that he has delivered training in are the US, England, Germany, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Singapore, Philippines, Australia and Mauritius.

Furquan is a Business Journalist with eight years of experience and a best-selling author. He has extensively covered India's debt market crisis, banking crisis and wrote a book on the fall of Yes Bank. The book “The Banker Who Crushed His Diamonds: The Yes Bank Story” was officially released in February 2021 and much to everyone's expectations, it became an instant best-seller. Within two months of its release, Furquan signed a deal with Almighty Motion Pictures for the movie rights of the financial thriller. The crisp page-turner will now be adapted for screen. He currently works at Staff Writer in The Morning Context.

He then spoke on the aspect of being from an investment banker to a journalist. He gave extra input on the balanced decision making and risk taking. He also added on details of how perseverance, patience with dedication can lead to success in any ﬁeld. He interacted with the students and gave career guidance regarding higher studies and how the school supported them at every step of their university admissions.

Some of the aspects discussed in the discussion included learning to keep a check on current industry requirements, pursuing a relevant Cisco certiﬁcation, areas of Networks and Systems, Network Security, Web Development, Remote Administration, and creating a support network of people who have the same career such as Alumni Network. He emphasized on reaching out to people who have gone through the same path and understand their experience and the hurdles they have overcome. It is a must in order to make students realize and help them in gaining maximum success and happiness from the hours they start learning and investing for their career. Towards this end a career talk session was held for Class 9th to 12th students in order to develop an insight among them about their college application, when to start, writing a strong essay and obtaining le ers of recommendation. The expert for the session was Ms. Tarika Kha ar. An alumna of The British School New Delhi from the class of 2009, Tarika Kha ar is an entrepreneur with a passion for History and Technology. Tarika creates online products that help make history more accessible in a non-academic se ing. She is also the co-founder of startups, Darcode and Vibe. She has done her bachelors in History (Honors) from University of Chicago and Masters of Philosophy from University of Cambridge in Modern South Asian Studies.

The delegation was accordingly received warmly and a detailed pedagogical plan was prepared that included guided tours to places of historical and recreational interest, artistic performances, and personalized interviews. Among other places, the delegation visited Doodhpathri, Mughal Gardens and Pahalgam to acquaint themselves not only with the geography, flora and fauna of the valley, but also assess its reputation as a bower of repute. The majestic mountains and flowing streams were quite a contrast from the plains, and so the delegation was mesmerized enough to pour their heart and soul into an open-air “Art Session” where they were trained to capture the panoramic visuals and the art of live painting and sketching. Besides, the bowers like Mughal Garden, shrines like Hazratbal Shrine, and Zeashta Devi Temple offered a useful background to explain the history of the vale, and the imprints le by history on the land.

Tarika is currently pursuing PhD from University of Cambridge. Ms. Tarika shared her experience with the students about her application process, draing essay, application requirements, admission interviews, and advised the students on how to write their application essays that can make their application stand out, key components of the college application, transcript, score reports and le ers of recommendation. Some of the other aspects discussed in the session were college planning, grades, test scores, extracurriculars, applying for ﬁnancial aid, choosing the right college and course.

Moreover, to complete their enriching experience the delegation was invited by a teacher- Ms. Radifa Khan, to her house. The purpose was to provide delegation an experience of local interactions, and native ways of living. The delegation was suitably delighted at the invite and was unanimous that it gave them a far more accurate insight into the lives of locals, far away from the din of news and stereotypes.

She connected to the students real quick. Her words created inquisitiveness in the minds of the students. The session was very interactive. Students were taking keen interest in understanding about the entire application process.

DPS Srinagar hosts a delegation from Gujarat school 14-06-2022 Gujarat students leave Kashmir full of memories. Delhi Public School, Srinagar recently hosted a delegation of 14 students and 2 teachers from Shrishti English Medium School, Anand Gujarat from June 4th, 2022 to June 11th, 2022 as a part of Domestic Class Exchange Program under the aegis of AFS India. The school is a privileged member of the program that envisions the exchange of students to facilitate cross-cultural exposure and the forging of bonds of bonhomie.

The hosted delegation also held a “Radio Session” with RJ Nasir on the in-house radio station of DPS Srinagar where they gave free vent to their opinions on the immense utility of such cultural exchanges, and the exemplary hospitality of DPS Srinagar to go out of its way to ensure that the trip was an enriching experience. On the last day of their visit, a combined assembly was held with class XII batch and hosted students. SPIC MACAY (Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth) is a volunteer-based organization that has been working for the past 45 years to create an awareness in students about classical music, dance and theatre to appraise them of the cultural traditions and heritage of the country. Every year, the society arranges more than 5000 programs in more than 1500 institutions, across almost 1000 cities, touching over 3 million students. Besides promoting Indian classical music amongst the youth, the event was held as a special dedication to Santoor maestros Pandit Bhajan Sopori and Pandit Shiv Kumar Sharma who passed away on May 10 and June 02 respectively this year.

The rank also secured him an online meeting with Musk and the other five winners. Besides, Kaul has been offered internships and scholarships from soware giants Linux and Microso.

The tournament was held at SP College Ground from 13th - 18th June. Sixteen teams representing various schools of the zone participated in the tournament playing against each other for a shot at glory.

DPS Srinagar student wins silver at Khelo India youth Games

In the finals, Oasis Educational Institute won the toss and elected to bat first. However, the DPS bowlers found enough purchase off the pitch to send the openers packing in the first two overs. This set the tone for the match as the quartet of Abrar, Ahmed, Shayan and Dabeeb bowled miserly spells while striking at regular intervals. Oasis could only muster 66 runs at the loss of eight wickets at the end of the allo ed ten overs. Any hopes that Oasis had of defending the measly target were dashed as the DPS openers - Syed Anhaar and Murshid smashed 20 runs in the first three overs. However, in the 4th over Oasis drew first blood, only for rain to halt proceedings. The brief shower, however, put life in the pitch, and two wickets fell in quick succession aer the rain break. However, Anhar kept a cool head, holding fort at one end and ushered his team to victory with a crucial unbeaten 40. Syed Anhar was declared the man of the match.

18-06-22 Sairah Zahoor – a student of class 12th of Delhi Public School Srinagar won a silver medal in the 52 kgs category in Thangta at the recently held Khelo India youth Games. Thang Ta“The Art of the Sword and Spear”- is the traditional martial art of Manipur in Northeast India. It integrates various external weapons – the sword, spear, dagger, etc. – with the internal practice of physical control through so movements coordinated with the rhythms of breathing. The games were held in Panchkula Haryana from 4th – 6th June 2022.

The team credited their coach Mr Iqbal Dar for their success. Learning Resource Centre (LRC) holds intervention program in ﬁrst week post pandemic

DPS Srinagar enjoys the rare distinction of having a full-fledged centre of education that caters to children with special needs, in a society where ableism rules the roost. The section which started in two rooms with two teachers and few students in 2005 has now expanded to a full- fledged department with different work stations for students which include separate sections for occupational therapy, speech therapy, computers, vocational group, integrated block, functional unit and remedial group. Currently, the department caters to 150 students with 57 teachers (including 4 in training). Our students have varying needs like ADHD, learning disability (which includes Dyslexia, Dyscalculia and Dysgraphia), visual impairment, Sensory integration issues, Down syndrome, Hydrocephalus, Autism, William’s syndrome, Joubert’s syndrome and seizure disorder. The pandemic was quite traumatic for these students as not only were the gains of personalised teaching lost, but also the benefits of online teaching could not percolate to these students. Consequently, when the school resumed offline post the pandemic on 9th Feb 2022, a key challenge lay in identifying the different experiences of the students and responding to their concerns that were likely to arise as the students would begin to open up to their teachers. An intervention program was therefore put into action with as many as 30 new students who were immediately identified and assessed. The program relied on counselling and confidence/ rapport building sessions and activities designed to help the students to bridge these gaps.

Parent Orientation LRC 07-03-22 The Learning Resource Center organized an orientation programme on March 4th, for the set of parents to familiarize them, “as partners in progress” with the new academic session, curriculum, teaching methodologies, and the coscholastic activities. The programme was packed with useful information on the LRC pedagogy, school policies, and classroom routine.

“Connect” was about ﬁnding new ways to communicate, interact and most importantly, connect with others equally. With bows of yellow and blue color tied on the shirts, the celebration was kick-started by the students of Down Syndrome with a heartfelt prayer. The students and staﬀ members were dressed in yellow and blue a ire with an imperfect pair of socks in accordance with the theme. The incharges were presented with bands made of yellow and blue ribbons. The audience was mesmerized to see the dance performance of the children. In addition to this, one of the students expressed her feelings with a beautiful quote, “Love doesn’t count chromosomes” which means life is valuable and worth protecting. One extra chromosome just means one more to love! The honourable principal of Delhi Public School, Ms. Shafaq Afshan delivered a heartfelt speech on the event. Students ended the celebration with a cake-cu ing ceremony and a song sung in harmony.

In order to raise awareness, a video was made by the enthusiastic team of therapists. The video was played across the board to enlighten the staﬀ and students about the set of wrong postures and its implications on muscles and bones. The team of Speech therapists gave a detailed description about the problem of Stu ering and the ways it can be managed and improved.

The event was concluded by Mr. Ehsan (CTO) who demonstrated the students the procedure of ﬂying a drone. It was a learning as well as fun experience for the children.

VISIT Bollywood ﬁlm director Madhur Bhandarkar visits Delhi Public School Srinagar 26-05-2022

Speaking from his experience while touring the school library he said, “Despite being forced to drop out of school, I never le reading, and books oﬀered guidance and solace. It is important that the students believe in the beauty of their dreams and aspirations because they help overcome adversity.”

Cinema has directed and produced award-winning hit films like Chandni Bar, Fashion and Corporate. Known for his sensitive and nuanced filmmaking, the film-maker has been acclaimed for producing hard-hi ing and impactful cinema.

During an interview with Radio DPS, the school’s own digital radio platform, Bhandarkar while replying to a question about his plans for shooting in Kashmir, he said, “I am looking for a subject and would definitely like to shoot in Kashmir.” Welcoming the vote of confidence by the acclaimed film maker, the chairman Vijay Dhar said “It is a ma er of greatest delight that such a film maker of repute has given us such an unequivocal vote of confidence. We have always striven to a ract the best talent of the country to inspire our students and provide them with the wings to chase their dreams.
