T

he months of June and July were filled with mixed emotions. The passing out batch was in suspense waiting for their board results. The Eid Celebrations were subdued with bad news of Covid deaths. Many families lost their loved ones, suddenly and unexpectedly. May they all rest in peace. The government's decision to create results on the basis of the class X , XI and XII marks came as a shocker. It is not a hidden fact that students have always waited and procrastinated till the final year to give their best efforts. Now, the things were different. The students who worked consistently hard were the winners. The declaration of the results relieved the anxiety of all our students and the teaching faculty. It was indeed a day for celebrations. The highest score reached a 99%. Brilliant performance of the batch as a whole. The Almighty has been benevolent once again. Months of struggle with zoom classes paid off! The staff were quick at creating appropriate recommendation letters for the students who were waiting to get admission in various prestigious institutions all over, nationally and internationally. May each child move closer to his dreams. The school achieved another landmark feat, henceforth the entire school was to be paperless. The answer scripts of the conducted exams would now be checked online and uploaded for future reference. A totally new concept and seemingly difficult one but we have always maintained, when the going gets tough, the tough get going! Admitted, there were initial hiccups but the staff mastered the new technique and felt triumphant in achieving the same. The teaching faculty was kept alert with frequent workshops and webinars. Mental lethary and stagnation has never had a place in the DPS work culture. The CBSE's decision to change the entire examination pattern and making it more child centric was welcomed by one and all. The new Semester system would give children adequate time to focus on half the syllabus at a time. Sometimes I feel that there are positives of being in a winter zone. Once again we are much ahead of many states in our syllabus completion. We pray and hope that we are able to see the students in the campus before we bid adieu to the year!

Happiness “Be healthy and take care of yourself, but be happy with the beautiful things that makes you, you.”

Everyone seeks happiness. Actually, almost every action, activity and goal are motivated by the desire to find happiness.

We buy beautiful things, we go to restaurants and love to travel. We seek love and we seek possessions, all for the purpose of enjoying more happiness.

Sometimes these pursuits make us happy, and sometimes they don’t, since true happiness comes from within, and is not dependent on external sources.

Happiness and joy are within your reach. You need to allow then to fill your awareness, and you need to strive to avoid thoughts that you do not deserve happiness.

Happiness is here and now, not at some future time.

Tips for Happiness in Life: It is your attitude that makes you feel happy or unhappy.

It is your habitual thinking that determines whether you are happy or unhappy.

It depends on how much you let events affect how you feel.

It depends on how much you allow people’s words and actions affect you.

It depends on how you much inner peace you can produce.

We meet all kinds situations every day, and some of them may not contribute to happiness. However, we can choose to keep thinking about the unhappy events, and we can choose to refuse to think about them, and instead, think about and relish the happy moments.

All of us go through difficult or unpleasant situations and circumstances, but we do not have to let them influence our reactions and feelings.

If we let external events influence our moods, we become their slaves. We lose our freedom. We let our happiness be determined by outer forces.

On the other hand, we can free ourselves from external influences. We can choose to be happy, and we can add a lot of happiness to our lives.

Happiness comes in waves, it will find you again. So, BE HAPPY and KEEP SMILING.....

2019 क अलग ही बन गई बात , िदखानी पड़ी D.P.S SRINAGAR को एक और करामात । हटाया गया ARTICLE 370, पढ़ाई होने लगी छू मं तर । चारो ं िदशाएँ हो गई बं द, D.P.S कहाँ करता ये सहन । आ D.P.S म एक सभा का आयोजन , जसम कहा गया सफ पढ़ाना है योजन । चाहे कु छ भी हो श क गण को आना है ू ल, ब ो ं को इन हालातो ं म भी देना है ान; नही तो कै से आएँ गे अ े प रणाम। था एक न कै से आएँ गे हम?

CAR PULLING का उठाया गया कदम। ASSIGMNMENTS AND WORKSHEETS बनने लगे ; आ शु पढ़ाई का दौर । PARENTS ने मचाया बड़ा शोर , ं ु समझ गए इसम है ब ो ं का फायदा। िकत िकया उ ोनें भी साथ देने का वादा , हो जाओगे हरैान जाते थे जहाँ ; पाते थे अपने बनाए ASSIGMNMENTS , WORKSHEETS क COPY वहा,ँ देखते थे क मीर क घाटी म जो भी BUS STOP.
