CAMPUS ROUNDUP LANGUAGE FESTIVAL The School organized a language fest from 3rd August, 2018 to 14th August,2018 to keep the spirit of multilingualism alive. Students from classes III to X participated with great enthusiasm .

  

The Hindi festival was graced by Professor Zohra Afzal,HOD Hindi, University of Kashmir The kashmiri festival was graced by Professor Shaad Ramzaan and Mr. Zareef Ahmad Zareef.

SEMINAR An inter class seminar was held for the students of class VI on 20 August,2018. The topic for the seminar was: ‘Excessive Use of Mobile Phones Can Hamper the Pleasure of an Active Childhood’. The students spoke eloquently on the topic and impressed the judges with their oratory skills.

EXAM

PTm A Parent Teacher Meet was held on 28 July 2018 for result declaration of Term1 exams. The teachers discussed both the strengths and areas of improvements of the students.

The PTM came to an end with the conclusion that the progress of the students depends on the joint efforts of parents and teachers.

CAMP The school organized trekking camps of 2 nights and 3 days from 13th July to 24 July for classes 3rd to 8th. Students trekked to different destinations like Baba Reshmi, Khillanmarg, Tangdori under ISM Gulmarg. Students also visited Kanchenjunga Museum, High Altitude War Fare School. Approximately 200 students from 5th-6th participated in it.

From how long you have been working here?

It’s been almost 12 years.



How do you feel when students leave classrooms/washrooms dirty?

We feel bad. Keeping the school neat and tidy is our job and duty but students should also realize that should not frequently litter around. We expect that students should keep their classrooms and corridors clean.

Why have you chosen DPS to work in?

Mostly because of poverty, also the school is near my home. So, it becomes easy to commute and I can also come on hartal days.

What is your message for students?





Keep your classrooms, your desks and your surroundings clean as much as you keep your home. 
