On 30th of April 2019, a grand and magnificent musical event entitled SUR-BAHAR a musical journey (season-2) 2) was organized by the faculty of Music. Students across the board presented their respective items individually as well as in groups. It was a well-organized organized and variety based programme containing all the aesthetical tastes and sorts of entertainment and excitement. From Indian classical music (RAAG Gayan) to western music, semi semi-classical classical to light and Qawali students s provided every performance a unique and special tre treatment atment it deserves and hence made mad the whole event a live, electrifying and a treat to watch to. They not only won the hearts and minds of the audience watching the program programme but also make them spell bound through their dynamic performances. The main guests who witnessed the whole event were Mr Humayoon Kaisar (Ex-Director and Broadcaster of Radio Kashmir Srinagar) and Mr Aijaz Rah (A well established and well known singer ger cum musician of our valley) valley).

Both the main guests not only enjoyed every segment of the programme, but were also pleasantly surprised by the mesmerizing and melodious renditions both vocal as well as orchestral. They were impressed by the musical presentations and provided their encouragement and appreciation by acknowledging that the school is the fountainhead of creativity.

“HEALTH IS WEALTH� The school aims to enable children live a healthy life. For this a general checkup was organized on 1st April 2019 for class 3rd. A team of senior specialists carried out a comprehensive check-up on students.

MY SUPERHEROďƒ THOR My super hero is Thor. He is my favourite Avenger. I watch many movies of Thor. He seems to be very brave and intelligent. When he fights the evil, no one survives. Enemies though have got destructive weapons to fight Thor but they cannot stand a second in front of him. Whosoever tries to fight him has to face nothing but death. His Hammer is adorable. When Thor throws his hammer on someone, he moves in the air. He is very powerful. No one can lift his hammer. His brother, Loki is an evil person. He wants to kill Thor but he cannot because Thor is very powerful. His sister Hella breaks Thor's Hammer in movie named 'Thor Rangnarok' but in 'Avenger's Infinity war’, he makes a new hammer named Storm Breaker. The new Hammer is powerful than Myothens. The hammer weighs more than 200 tons. Then in infinity war, he beats everyone in one single stroke. Then comes Thanos and beats all Avengers, except Thor who in the end beats Thanos and concludes the movie. Muqarrab
My mother----- My superhero My mother is my superhero because she has all the qualities which most people don't have. She is hardworking, kind, active, intelligent and much more. And, her timings are always perfect. She is perfect just like a superhero. And I think that every mother is a superhero. She is the key to my success. I love her very much. But when she goes on her night duty, l miss her a lot. Sometimes she becomes furious at my mischievous acts. Underneath her feet is the way to heaven. I just want to be like her, I want to follow her footsteps. I want to make her feel proud of me. She is adored by everyone in the family. She is my beloved person in the world. She does a lot of work at home and I know how tired she is. First she wakes me and my brother up for school and gives us breakfast, then she drops me and my brother at the bus stop and returns home back. Then she wakes my father up and makes breakfast for him and then for herself. They both go to their offices, and work there. When she gets home she gives us something to eat and folds our uniform, and washes our lunchboxes. She does all the things even if she is on fast. She is so gentle. Without eating or drinking anything she gives us things to eat. She always protects me and punishes the person who teases me. She helps me to do my homework or a project. She brings me many toys to play with and many things to eat. She is my favourite family member. I love to spend time with her and she is the best person I have ever met. My mother is the only person who makes me feel happy when I am crying. I just want to wish to the best mother of the world "Happy mother's day"
