"COMMUNICATION " Communication relates to expressing thought , sharing ideas and exchanging information with others.

Communication has been an essential part of our lives since the early days . Initially, people communicated through sounds and gestures. Slowly, when the art of writing developed, symbols began to be used to communicate.

Initially, pigeons were used to carry messages written on paper to far-off places. Later, men were sent on foot or horseback to deliver messages. These men were known as harkara. Now people are using modern means to communicate with one another which includes posts , telecommunication and mass communication.

Mass communication Through mass communication or mass media, messages can reach a large number of people at the same time . Radio, newspaper, television , magazines and books are some examples of mass communication .

News from different parts of the world reaches us through newspapers every morning. A newspaper carries news related to people , politics, sports and entertainment .

Artificial satellites also play an important role in mass communication.

Ramu , The Buddhu Buddha means a fool, an idiot. Ramu was a Buddhu. He was extremely silly. He did very comical things. People called him a ''Fool." But Ramu was happy in his so called 'foolishness'.

One afternoon ,Ramu, the Buddhu, was working in the field. It was harvest time. He was reaping the cropof wheat. He went to eat food under a nearby tree. He slept for a while after eating his food. In the meantime his sickle lay in the sun. It became very hot. Ramu asked his friends, who were working along with him,why his sickle was as hot as an oven. They, out of fun, teased him and said, "your sickle has high fever."

He asked for a remedy. The friends advised him to tie a rope to the sickle and lower it into the deep water of the well. Buddhu did this. After a few minutes he took out the sickle. It was as cold as ice. According to Ramu, the Buddhu, the fever of the sickle had gone.

After a few days his mother, who was old and weak, fell seriously ill. Buddhu felt her pulse. The woman had high temperature. He did not consult doctor. He took the old woman to the edge of the well. He tied a strong rope around her neck. Then he lowered her into the well below. The old woman was dipped in the ice-cold water of the well again and again. Buddhu thought that fever of his mother would go soon.

In fact, the old woman had breathed her last. Her fever had gone with her life.

How People Behave Nowadays?

Have you ever noticed how people have changed? Well, nowadays everybody is busy talking about Justin Bieber's latest song, or gossiping about the latest movie and God knows what else. And if someone likes stories, they just read from an e-book. Did you understand ?

People are so called modern. Kids must have known by now, how long their moms take for shopping.

People act in a so called dignified way. Like someone accidentally screeches his or her plate with a spoon while eating and people say " You ought to learn manners" ! In other words, those others then start tormenting that one person and save themselves from being the odd one out.

One cannot possibly stand up for someone these days because they prefer to save themselves. What I am trying to say is that folks have changed drastically.

It raises a concern that we must change. Since nothing is permanent in this World.
