THE GEORGE GOTTLIEB HOLOCAUST & JEWISH EDUCATION PROGRAM NEWSLETTER - Fall 2022 - 5783 On March 3 we celebrated the dedication of the Mania & Max Nudel Holocaust Learning Center and the creation of the George Gottlieb Holocaust & Jewish Education Program (GGHJEP). Throughout the spring and summer we have welcomed over 2,000 visitors, commemorated Yom HaShoah featuring special programs with Holocaust survivors, and hosted 60 educators from Broward County Schools. Yet, we have only just begun! This fall, we are excited to present a lecture series with Rabbi Dr. Leon Weissberg, formally launch the celebration of Israel’s 75th birthday and begin a series delving into the most popular cable shows with a Jewish lens. We look forward to seeing you! Our newsletter will keep you updated on our programs and special events, provide you with current events and educational resources and peak your interest in various topics. Plan a visit; join us for a program; mark your calendar for the commemoration of Kristallnacht in October and consider becoming a donor to help us further our goal to Remember Educate Inspire. We hope you will be a part of the GGHJEP dialogue and discussions that will take place in the Mania & Max Nudel Holocaust Learning Center (MMNHLC) - the center of learning in our David Posnack JCC.
