DP has always placed human-centricity and sustainability at the heart of its practice and believes that architecture and design can help to strengthen social fabric, mitigate the impacts of climate degradation and achieve sustainable development. In the face of mounting humanitarian crises and climate degradation, the firm is deepening its environmental consciousness and lending voice to the cause. With advocacy in mind and in support of the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this special issue of Design in Print examines completed and ongoing projects through the lens of the SDGs and carefully evaluates the main purposes, conditions, and social and environmental impact of urban and building designs.
