For 70 amazing years, you—the people of North Carolina—have been by our side. You’ve inspired us and cheered us on since our first telecast back in 1955. Together, we’ve welcomed Mister Rogers to our neighborhood, gotten our hands dirty with This Old House and gone on countless trips with NC Weekend. We’ve mastered the art of French cooking with Julia, found our roots with Henry Louis Gates Jr. and rummaged through every yard sale looking for the next big Antiques Roadshow discovery.

Because of you, PBS North Carolina has expanded beyond broadcast television to educate, inform, entertain and inspire all North Carolinians—at home, in the classroom or on the go. Your support has made all of this possible, and for that we’re forever grateful.

Dear North Carolina, YEARS

So here’s to you for 70 wonderful years! And stay tuned as the best is yet to come.

With gratitude,

Your friends at PBS North Carolina

First Horizon Bank welcomes you to Broadway at DPAC

As a proud DPAC sponsor and advocate of the arts, First Horizon Bank is honored to welcome you to the theater. It is a privilege to share this remarkable experience with you as we celebrate the many ways live performance unites, inspires and uplifts us all.

Our nancial institution recognizes the bene t and importance of supporting community events like this one. While we have the resources and reach of a large bank, our roots are rmly grounded in the values of a local one — roots planted right here in Durham. These connections empower us to drive meaningful change in the places we serve and for the people who call them home.

If you’re interested in learning more about our organization, the ways we’re impacting our communities and how we’re bringing our clients a unique blend of big bank power and small bank personalization, we encourage you to visit us online at rsthorizon.com or stop by one of our many banking centers in the Triangle.

Thank you for joining us today. Now, sit back, relax and enjoy the show!

5,000 years of art history

On behalf of the City of Durham, I would like to welcome you to DPAC! Like so many Durham residents, I recognize the jewel that DPAC is to Durham and the Triangle region.

I’m thrilled to say that DPAC, after more than a decade, continues to showcase the energy, passion and great entertainment with a list of performances that people will travel from miles around to see.

This season will feature some of Broadway’s biggest hits, concerts, comedy shows and special events to ever take the DPAC stage. I’m also excited to see so many DPAC fan-favorites and rst-time performers take the stage throughout the upcoming season.

And as usual, all the special touches that come with seeing a Broadway show or concert at DPAC still await you, starting with the beauty of the theater and DPAC’s legendary customer service. A visit to DPAC is an open invitation to experience Durham. It’s as easy as parking and walking to downtown restaurants, or taking a short drive to nearby malls, museums, or historical sites.

As your Mayor, I’m so excited that one of my duties is to o cially welcome you to one of the greatest theaters in the world!

But don't take my word for it – DPAC is a Pollstar favorite, consistently ranking among the top theaters in the country. Thank you for choosing DPAC and Durham. Now settle into your seats to enjoy your DPAC experience and an unforgettable show. 

In

"Welcome to DPAC!"

For seventeen years, I’ve had the privilege of being part of the team that says, “Welcome to DPAC!”

From our inaugural season in 2008 where we only had a few thousand Broadway at DPAC members to this season where we are proud to be welcoming nearly 18,000 season members and be ranked as one of the top- ve theatres in the country, it has been an exceptional journey.

On behalf of everyone on Team DPAC, we thank you for this chance to host you at this incredible Broadway performance.

For some of you in the audience, this may be your rst time visiting, while others may have joined us for countless great shows over the past decade. Whether this is your rst visit or your hundredth, please know that every single guest at DPAC is important to us.

We are always here to listen and to help. Your feedback helps us stay on track to deliver unforgettable, moving, emotional, fun, and all-around great experiences.

We invite you to Discover the Magic of Broadway this season…we’re glad you are here. 

We have an unfair advantage... We care more

OUR VISION – We believe in great entertainment experiences. We want to be our guests’ favorite place for live events.

OUR MISSION – To present one-of-a-kind, live entertainment events. From Broadway to concerts, comedy to family shows – ‘there is something for everyone’ at DPAC.

OUR VALUES – Quality, safety, and service. We deliver these values with warmth, friendliness and an attention to detail that is the hallmark of the legendary DPAC experience.

OUR PROMISE – DPAC welcomes all guests, performers, and events in an open, friendly and respectful setting. We stand committed against all forms of discrimination. 

The Performing Arts Showstoppers at DPAC program is for area high school students who both love smiling and saying hello AND seeing DPAC’s biggest shows.

Showstoppers will welcome guests at DPAC’s entry doors all season long. Their genuine and kind greetings provide an upbeat entry experience for DPAC’s guests as they arrive at the very biggest shows on tour.

The Showstopper program o ers students the following:

• Volunteer service hours for college-bound applications and resumes.

• Excellent customer service experience at one of the top- ve performing arts centers in America.

• Opportunities to experience DPAC’s hit shows.

• Plus, peer social gatherings with like-minded fans of live entertainment and theatre.

The inspiration for this program comes from the Durham Way nders at DPAC, a City of Durham volunteer program where members share their time and talents in the spirit of helping everyone feel welcome at DPAC.

Your phone is your ticket

Mobile entry is a safe, easy, convenient, and contactless way to access and manage your tickets all in one place.

Safety is every venue’s #1 priority, and mobile entry gives DPAC a better understanding of who guests are prior to every performance. It is critical for venues to know who is in possession of each ticket in order to share important information with them before the doors open and the show begins.

With mobile entry, there’s no need for direct contact or physical exchange of your ticket. Mobile entry guarantees a quick and safe ticket scan straight from your phone.

Our secure ticket technology reduces the risk of ticket fraud and eliminates the possibility of theft or counterfeiting. Once you’ve purchased your mobile tickets on Ticketmaster, you can always rest assured you’re getting the seats you paid for. Always be aware, though. Do not purchase tickets from unauthorized online ticket brokers. Don’t be fooled by online websites that mimic DPAC’s name or website, or o er tickets they might not even have.
