Go to Doyle.com

Click the BIDLIVE! link at top right

Click Login to Register

Login with your email and password If you don’t have a password, click the “Register now!” button to create one.

Once you are logged in, click Register to Bid! next to the specific auction in which you are bidding

Check button to agree to the Terms & Conditions

Click Confirm

Click View Catalogue to start bidding!

Make note of the “Soft Close” time.

A Soft Close means that lots close sequentially, one lot per minute.

Should any bids be placed in the final minute, bidding will remain open on the lot for one additional minute.

Timed auction bids are final and may not be cancelled.

Please consider your bids carefully before placing a timed bid.

There are two ways to place bids: •

Placing one bid at a time using the Next Bid buton

Entering a Max Bid that will be automatically executed for you in competition with other bids.

In case of identical bids, the earliest Max Bid placed will take precendence

Please consider the stability of your internet connection when deciding which option to use.

Placing Max Bids is the safest option. Please allow enough time to enter and confirm your bids.

NEXT BID METHOD Click the gray Next Bid $ button with the bid increment

Then confirm your bid by clicking the YELLOW Confirm button.

You have 9 seconds to confirm your bid.

You will see notification that your bid was placed successfully. Click OK to close the notification

MAX BID METHOD

Enter the maximum amount of your bid in the box and click Place bid

Then confirm your bid by clicking the YELLOW Confirm button.

You have 9 seconds to confirm your bid.

You will see notification that your bid was placed successfully. Click OK to close the notification

BID STATUS & RAISING MAX BIDS

After placing your bid, you will see the status of your bid • If the lot reserve has not been met, Reserve not met! will be displayed.

The lot will not sell until the reserve has been met.

If you are using the Max Bid method, you may raise your Max Bid by entering it into the box and clicking Change bid.

You must Confirm your bid as before.

Max Bids are automaically executed up to the amount of the reserve, after which they are automaically exectued in competition with other bidders.

If you are using the Next Bid method, you will not be able to place another bid until there is bidding competition.

• If you are the successful bidder you will see You are the high bidder! in green. NOTE: If the Reserve has not been met, you will not win the lot even if you are the high bidder.

• If you have been outbid, you will see You have been Outbid in red.

You will also receive an email notification that you have been outbid.

left on your lot. This number should be actively counting down. If you do not see the countdown, refresh the page to update this information.

After the auction, you will receive an email with your invoice and information on payment options.

Online bidding is subject to the same Buyer’s Premium and applicable Sale Taxes as our saleroom auctions, as stated in the Terms and Conditions.
