SERVING WITH A PURPOSE

Spendingsummers at my grandparents growing up, I watched my grandfather “Papaw Huck” teach me what a servant looked like through his actions has always played a role in the person I strive to be.

Last year, I felt a calling to be part of the solution to the growing problem of homelessness in our community, and that’s how I found myself working today as the Donor Engagement Officer at Downtown Rescue Mission.

I love what I get to do every day – building lasting relationships with donors and sharing the stories of how their investments are Transforming Lives – One at a Time. Each day when I walk through the doors at the Mission, I know that I am in some way doing just that!

Here I am today, serving a great God and serving with a great team at DRM doing what I love to do – SERVE. The Mission is not always easy, but the results are LIFE CHANGING!
