Represented in the following pages are candidates who have
opposition in the August 7 election. Not all offices had more than
one candidate file for a specific post, so candidates without opposition
automatically advance to the November ballot and they were not asked to
respond to the questionnaire sent out by Downtown newsmagazine.
In the relatively large field vying for offices in the August primary,
there were a couple of candidates who did not respond to our
request so they are not represented in the following pages.
