The city boasts some of Scotland’s best theatres and performing companies playing to packed houses at the Tron, Kings, Royal, Tramway or Citizen’s Theatres where there is an ever changing menu of great shows, plays, variety and panto.

There are some great live music and concert venues, in fact too many to list, but its definitely worth checking what’s on in places such as the SECC, the Hydro Arena, Royal Concert Hall, City Halls, Barrowlands, O2ABC and O2

Academy where some of the world’s top artists regularly perform.

There are also lots of smaller, more intimate places all around the city where you can enjoy your night. The famous King Tuts Wah Wah Hut or Oran Mor both have an awesome reputation for great music while if the very best of stand up comedy takes your fancy then a night out at the Stand Comedy Club will leave you heading back to your hotel with a smile on your face.

If loud, late and electric is more to your liking then glam up for a night out at one of the city’s many fabulous clubs such as the Arches, Sub Club, Nice N Sleazy or 13th Note where you can find music, dancing, cocktails and fun until the wee small hours.
