On 31st December 2019, Cobargo's streetscape changed forever, but the heart and soul of Cobargo remains strong. COVID19 has been another huge challenge, particularly for those living in tents and caravans. Damaged and destroyed buildings have been cleaned up, and plans to rebuild the parts of the main street are progressing. Cobargo has numerous businesses that weren't affected by fire, and they could really use your support. Bring your empty esky, stay for lunch, stay for the weekend, stay for a week. The Cobargo Markets, an initiative of Cobargo Creators, are on every Saturday from 8am - 1pm. Enjoy the friendly Cobargo vibe whilst browsing fresh produce, seedlings, herbs, local crafts, craft supplies and other locally made goodies. Contemplating some serious shopping? Cobargo has unusual gifts, homewares, clothing, books, art and healthcare products. Take a break for coffee, or enjoy lunch at one of Cobargo's cafes or from Via Luna, serving food from a tiny van.
