TOMOKI HAYASAKA My name is Tomoki Hayasaka. from Sendai, Japan.

I’m making surreal art. My art expresses the feelings that are common to human being. sadness, loneliness, and love, and I’m making designs for music bands. CD cover, poster, promotion photo manipulation, etc. I’m accepting design projects from the worldwide.

I’m self-taught artist. but I’m really love art and design, so I would like to keep study and improve my skill more and more!

MICHAEL REEDY I was born and raised in the Midwest United States.

I have always been interested in drawing and making things, and began taking community art classes when I was 10 years old. Over the past 30 years I would like to think I have improved a little, but these things are always quite subjective! However, to this day, I continue to strive to out do myself

with each new drawing, and always believe that the next work can be more succinct and/or more honest than the last. I am also obsessed with old anatomical models, prints, and books at the moment– and a small section of my studio is currently overrun with the various oddities I have collected. I look to these, and the various people that sit for my work, for inspiration.

I am an artist and an educator. I am currently an Assistant Professor in Drawing at Eastern Michigan University. Teaching within a University is fantastic in that it provides an atmosphere of experimentation and growth, of new ideas, new art, and new possibilities. When I am not assisting others with developing their skills and/or ideas, I am working to improve, challenge, and explore my own. There is timelessness to drawing and the themes of life, death, and the human condition that I at-

tempt to explore in my work.

At some point, I would like to think that my work would add to the broader conversation of meaning and beauty.

ALICIA MARTIN My name is Alicia Martin, I’m a Spanish visual artist currently living in Brooklyn, NY. I work as an illustrator and concept artist while I also develop my personal projects, which are mainly digital painting combined with traditional oil painting and sketching.

My work begins with experimentation, where the subconscious is one of my main sources of inspiration. I find it interesting to try to give a visual shape to what is unreal, facing the challenge of making it believable, as if it belonged to the conscious world.

FLAVIA ZAIDAN I was born in Rosario, I live and I work in this city. In 2007, I got a degree in Fashion Design at the French Alliance’s Anrique Institute. In 2009, I had an exhibit at the Ross Café Rosario and, in the same year, another one at Ser, an art space in Funes. I participated in collective displays at the Castagnino Museum, Rosario’s French Alliance, and the VI Art and Poetry Gathering Victoria Entre Rios, Casilda Museum and Roldan’s Independence Foundation.

Currently, my work is displated in OSECAC’s Expoarte Mercantil space. I work with oil on fabric on a personal Surrealism, with a predisposition to curvy lines, which are combined with the human figure.

My desire is to evoke mythological events and visited places, leading the observer to reencounter their own stories through mine.

AUDREY KAWASAK The themes in Audrey Kawasaki’s work are contradictions within themselves. Her work is both innocent and erotic. Each subject is attractive yet disturbing. Audrey’s precise technical style is at once influenced by both manga comics and Art Nouveau. Her sharp graphic imagery is combined with the natural grain of the wood panels she paints on, bringing an unexpected warmth to enigmatic subject matter.

The figures she paints are seductive and contain an air of melancholy. They exist in their own sensually esoteric realm, yet at the same time present a sense of accessibility that draws the observer to them. These mysterious young women captivate with the direct stare of their bedroom eyes.
