The Douglasville Parks & Rec. Department CAPRA Reaccreditation

The City of Douglasville Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce its reaccreditation

through the Commission for Accreditation of Park and Recreation Agencies (CAPRA). This national seal of excellence is awarded to agencies that meet 154 rigorous standards in planning, operations, safety, and service delivery, an achievement earned by only a select number of parks and recreation departments nationwide. Douglasville is one of just 14 agencies accredited in the state of Georgia, out of more than 200 total agencies. Reaccreditation not only reinforces Douglasville’s commitment to accountability and continuous improvement, but also sets the department apart as a leader in providing high-quality, equitable, and professionally managed parks and recreation services for the entire community.
