Missa 'Musica Sacra' was composed for the Musica Sacra, Warsaw-Praga Cathedral Choir of Poland during my year in Warsaw as a Fulbright Scholar at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music. This work was premiered at the 20th anniversary celebration of the division of the Warsaw Catholic Diocese by Pope John Paul II. It was broadcast on Catholic National TV and Radio in March 2012 at the Warsaw-Praga Cathedral, Poland. The typical ordinary movements (Kyrie, Gloria, Sanctus & Benedictus, Agnus Dei) are represented except for the Credo. In the place of the Credo is a setting of the traditional 'Pater Noster' ('Our Father') text. The final movement is a setting of Isaiah's powerful text 'Dextera Domini' ('The Right Hand of the Lord').
