Nominations are open for the 2024 Douglas County Community Foundation DCCF
This year's awards will include honors for Douglas County first responders, armed fo veterans, community members, and organizations that support these brave heroes. F include anyone in law enforcement, including police officers and sheriff deputies, firefighters, emergency medical services personnel, dispatchers, search and rescue, and volunteer first responders.
Nominees must have responded to a situation exhibiting exceptional courage, self-sacrifice, extraordinary compassion, or life-saving actions considered above and beyond the call of duty or administering extraordinary emergency aid. These events must have occurred in the last 18 months for first responder nominees
Nominations are due by noon on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. Final nominees will be invited to attend the DCCF Heroes Gala on September 13, 2024, and will be honored during the event. Please visit www.dccf.org to no
