Nominations are open for the 2024 Douglas County Community Foundation DCCF
This year's awards will include honors for Douglas County first responders, armed fo veterans, community members, and organizations that support these brave heroes. F include anyone in law enforcement, including police officers and sheriff deputies, firefighters, emergency medical services personnel, dispatchers, search and rescue, and volunteer first responders.
Nominees must have responded to a situation exhibiting exceptional courage, self-sacrifice, extraordinary compassion, or life-saving actions considered above and beyond the call of duty or administering extraordinary emergency aid. These events must have occurred in the last 18 months for first responder nominees
Nominations are due by noon on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. Final nominees will be invited to attend the DCCF Heroes Gala on September 13, 2024, and will be honored during the event. Please visit www.dccf.org to no

HONORING HEROES, CELEBRATING COMMUNITY
The Douglas County Community Foundation (DCCF) is excited to announce its second annual Heroes Gala. This unforgettable night of inspiration and celebration will raise awareness and support and say Thank You to our Douglas County first responders, Armed Forces members, veterans, and our nonprofit partner organizations that support these brave heroes.
DCCF exists to inspire generosity, establish and manage charitable funds, and provide resources to enrich our shared lives and legacy in Douglas County. This event raises funds that benefit the DCCF Community Emergency Relief Fund. These funds will provide direct assistance to our community, nonprofit partners, and first responders during catastrophic events affecting Douglas County residents and ensure that emergency relief funds can be quickly accessed and distributed to those in Douglas County who need it most when they need it most.

The Event
Enjoy a beautiful Colorado evening at Centennial Airport in the exclusive Signature Aviation private jet hangar.
You will be amazed by thrilling first responder demonstrations, interactive fire and rescue experiences, military displays, and inspiring meet & greets with Hero Award honorees, local media personalities, legendary Denver Broncos Super Bowl 50 team members, and country music artist Tate Stevens.
This event will be a spectacular celebration, and your support will help ensure that Douglas County will remain a safe and thriving community for years to come.
