Registration and Financial Assistance Info Registration is Easy Registration opens January 10, 2018 at 7 am. Once open, go to www.girlscoutshh.org, click on Activities; search for camp session by title, and click on Register Now. 1. Follow prompts to select the camperâ€™s name, their t-shirt size, and any camp extras you are interested in 2. Check out, submit payment information; pay all or part of camp fee, minimum is $75 non-refundable deposit at time of registration Offline options: Call us today at Customer Care 1-855-232-GSHH (4744) to register over the phone or to request a paper form.

Payments A $75 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your girlâ€™s spot. Full payment for all camp programs is due May 15, 2018. If the balance of camp tuition is not received by May 15th, your reservation will be cancelled. Payment may be made by money order, check, or credit card. Cookie Credits may be applied toward any of your camp registration fees, excluding the $75 non-refundable deposit. Camperships Camperships are available to all Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson members who would like to attend a GSHH summer camp but cannot afford the cost. Using one form per girl, please complete the campership application. Campership form must be accompanied by a $75 deposit per session. Applicants submitting a financial assistance application will be reimbursed their deposit if they decline to attend camp. The deadline to apply for a Campership is Thursday, March 15, 2018. Discount Information GSHH Discounts These discounts apply to Resident and Day Camp programs for registered Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson members only. Please note, discounts cannot be combined. All campers who request a discount must be paid in full by May 15, 2018, with the exception of the Early Bird Discount (which is awarded for paying in full by February 28th). It is at the discretion of the family to choose which discount they would like to apply when registering their girl for camp. Please indicate which discount you have chosen on each camp registration form.

Early Bird Discount Available for registered Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson members only. To receive the Early Bird Discount of 10% (not to exceed $100 per session), registration forms must be received and full payment online or at a Girl Scout office on or before Wednesday, February 28, 2018. Girls need outdoor experiences, and Camp Addisone Boyce is the place where they can embrace their inner Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker and Leader while exploring, questioning, creating, and discovering everything the outdoors has to offer. Hiking, swimming, campfire cooking, boating, fishing, archery, ropes, and nature lessons are just some of the many activities she’ll experience here. While making friends and helping plan her own activities, she’ll grow in confidence and independence. She’ll expand her horizons as she tries new things and tackles challenges with optimism and a sense of teamwork. Optional overnights are scheduled for girls in 4th and 5th grade two-week sessions, and for all 6th-12th grade sessions.

Love to swim? Then join us this session and have fun learning how to be an Olympic swimmer in no time! Maybe learn some tricks about the water only the lifeguards can teach. This session is for those seniors who want to get the full camping experience here at CAB. Sometimes, you shouldn’t have to make a choice, or pick a favorite. When it comes to camp, we know all the activities are the absolute best. So this session, you’ll get swim lessons in the pool, go boating on Lake Bullowa, make something creative at arts and crafts, learn how to use a bow and arrow up at archery, and build your skills at the ropes course. A well-rounded camper is a happy camper.

Camp Aides is a great experience for girls who are ready to take on more responsibility at camp. While still getting to do all the camp programs as a regular camper, Camp Aides assist staff with daily tasks and special projects they would like to do around camp. From preparing food “pack-outs” for cookouts and fresh batches of tie-dye for the whole camp to making sure there are nice cold drinking water for the camp. The Camp Aides are an essential part of the CAB team! Camp Aides also get a chance to help in camp’s specialty areas. They’ll assist the staff and learn the ins-and-outs of running a specialty: arts and crafts, nature, fishing, archery, office assistant, boating, and low ropes. It’s sure to be a memorable summer full of great experiences!

C.I.T. I July 2 - July 27

The C.I.T. program is for young women interested in making a positive impact on children and learning the skills it takes to be a great camp counselor. This FOUR WEEK program focuses on child development, safety and first aid, creative camp programming, camp skills, and child supervision. The program will also emphasize the development of important life skills such as leadership, teamwork, communication, cooperation, and management. In addition, you will spend time with unit and specialty staff where you can explore and sharpen your skills in outdoor cooking, low ropes, archery, leading songs and games, arts and crafts, boating, and hiking.

Upon successful completion of you four weeks as a CIT I training, an optional one-or two-week C.I.T. II program will be available. The C.I.T. Resident Camp

Day Camp is where you can begin your Girl Scout Camp Journey, discovering friendships, fun activities and the wonders of your natural world. Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson offers two great options: Camp Addisone Boyce in Tomkins Cove, NY and Rocky Brook in Eastchester, NY.

Resident camp is an overnight camping experience where you can explore the outdoors with friendly, caring and speciallytrained camp counselors. You can choose to stay in cabins, tents and for older girls we have a primitive camping experience. We offer a variety of programs for one, two, or three week sessions at Rock Hill Resident Camp.

Rocky Brook Camp Rocky Brook Day Camp is an outdoor adventure in the middle of the city. From the moment you pull into the driveway, you’ll enter a magical world of shady trees, a rolling brook, and an outdoor campfire. Our strength is our community. Our smaller size means campers get to know not only their own unit, but everyone in camp. Our forte is our girl-led programming. Every camper has a voice in making day to day decisions, so she’ll grow in confidence, independence, and leadership. Our specialty is field trips. Every session, all campers take a fun and educational field trip to places such as theaters, museums, and discovery centers. They’ll also go to our sister camp, Rock Hill, for boating, archery, swimming, and other outdoor activities.

The C.I.T. I program in for young women interested in making a positive impact on children and learning the skills it takes to be a good camp counselor. The four-week program focuses on child development, safety and first aid, creative camp programming, camp skills, and child supervision. The program will also emphasize the development of important life skills such as leadership, teamwork, communication, cooperation, and management. In addition, you will spend time with unit staff and specialty staff where you can explore and sharpen your skills in: outdoor cooking, low ropes, leading songs, and games, arts & crafts, and hiking. The C.I.T. I program includes two overnights and all trips. Cost includes all trips and two overnights. Girls will work towards the C.I.T. I pin.

Counselor-in-Training II (age 15) July 30 - August 3 & August 6 - August 10

Upon successful completion of your four weeks of C.I.T. I training, and with approval of the Camp Director, and optional one or two week C.I.T. II program will be available. The C.I.T. II program provides more hand-on opportunities for honing the camp counselor skills you developed earlier in the summer. Plus, it’s a great way to enjoy the last weeks of the summer with your newfound friends and extend your camp experience! C.I.T. IIs may participate in weekly overnights for an additional $25 fee. Girls will work towards C.I.T. II pin.

Rock Hill Resident Camp Mahopac, NY

Rock Hill provides the perfect setting for outdoor adventure, and the perfect space for girl’s to embrace their individuality. Here, she’ll learn to love her uniqueness while spending her days hiking, boating, swimming, shooting archery, creating art, and scaling our ropes courses. With a focus on skill-building activities, she’ll leave confident in her ability to take on the subject of her chosen session. Evenings are spent singing around the campfire, learning outdoor skills, stargazing, taking a night hike, competing in all camp games, or connecting with the others in their unit. Campers can stay in a platform tent with access to modern washhouses or in one of our allweather cabins.
