Registration and Financial Assistance Info Registration is Easy Registration opens on Thursday, January 10, 2019, at 8:00 am.

1. To register, go to www.girlscoutshh.org and click on the Programs and Events tab 2. Using the Menu on the left side, select Calendar 3. Using the arrow keys, scroll to the month for the Summer Camp Session you want to register for 4. Click on the session name, which will take you to a page with additional information 5. Click on the Register Now button in the middle of the page 6. You will be prompted to sign in using your email address 7. Follow the prompts to complete the registration All Registrations require a non-refundable $75 deposit.

Payments A $75 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your girl’s spot. Full payment for all camp programs are due by Thursday, May 16, 2019. If the balance of camp tuition is not received

by May 16th, your reservation may be cancelled. Payment may be made by money order, check, or credit card. Dough-Si-Dough may be applied toward any of your camp registration fees, excluding the $75 non-refundable deposit. To use Dough-Si-Dough as payment, please contact Customer Care at 1-855-232-GSHH (4744).

Camperships Camperships are available to all Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson members who would like to attend a GSHH summer camp but cannot afford the cost. Using one form per girl, please complete the campership application. Campership form must be accompanied by a $75 deposit per session. Applicants submitting a financial assistance application will be reimbursed their deposit if they decline to attend camp.

The deadline to apply for a Campership is Friday, March 15, 2019.

Discount Information GSHH Discounts These discounts apply to Resident and Day Camp programs for registered Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson members only. Please note, discounts cannot be combined. All campers who request a discount must be paid in full by Thursday, May 16, 2019, with the exception of the Early Bird Discount (which is awarded for paying in full by Thursday, February 28, 2019).

It is at the discretion of the family to choose which discount they would like to apply when registering their girl for camp. Please indicate which discount you have chosen on each camp registration form. Discounts do not apply to the Rock Hill Resident Camp’s Me and My Gal sessions.

Early Bird Discount Available for registered Girl Scouts Heart of the Hudson members only. To receive the Early Bird Discount of 10 percent (not to exceed $100 per session), registration forms must be received with full payment online or at a Girl Scout office by Thursday, February 28, 2019.

Our Camp Aides sessions are a great way for older campers to take on more responsibility at CAB! Camp Aides are able to participate in the camp program while still enjoying all the classic camp activities. They learn what it takes to run a specialty program and assist camp staff with daily tasks. Camp Aides also come together to finish a ‘Camp Aides Project’ that will leave a lasting impact on CAB! Camp Aides are eligible for the weekly sleepovers.

C.I.T. I

Our C.I.T. I program is designed for young women who are interested in becoming a camp counselor and helping them embrace their leadership skills! THIS IS A FOUR WEEK PROGRAM. C.I.T.’s will learn about child development, camper supervision, first-aid, and camp programming. This program also works on communication, cooperation, and teamwork. By the end, C.I.T.’s will have experience assisting units and specialties.

C.I.T.’s are eligible for the weekly sleepovers.

Our forte is our girl-led programming. Every camper has a voice in making day to day decisions, so she’ll grow in confidence, independence, and leadership.

Our campers take a fun educational field trip to our sister camp Rock Hill for boating, archery, swimming, and other outdoor fun activities.

Mahopac, NY

Rock Hill provides the perfect setting for outdoor adventure, and the perfect space for girls to embrace their individuality.

Here, she’ll learn to love her uniqueness while spending her days hiking, boating, swimming, shooting archery, creating art, and scaling our ropes courses. With a focus on skill-building activities, she’ll leave confident in her ability to take on the subject of her chosen session.

Evenings are spent singing around the campfire, learning outdoor skills, stargazing, taking a night hike, competing in all camp games, or connecting with the others in their unit.

Campers can stay in a platform tent with access to modern washhouses or in one of our all-weather cabins.

Spend your time at camp preparing for an overnight canoe trip by learning the parts of a canoe, different canoe strokes, and playing canoe games. This session teaches the knowledge and skills needed to respond to aquatic emergencies at a pool or waterfront.

Upon successful completion of the course, including demonstration of proper techniques, participants will receive certification in American Red Cross Waterfront Lifeguarding, First Aid, and CPR/AER for the professional rescuer.

Participants must be 15 years old by July 8, and must be a strong swimmer.
