55th National Council Session

In October 2020, GSHH National Delegates joined over 1100 delegates from across 11 Girl Scout councils and GSUSA Girl Scouts Overseas for the 55th National Council Session (NCS) of Girl Scouts. During this first-ever virtual NCS, delegates came together to discuss, debate, and vote on issues important to the Girl Scout movement and elect national leaders for the 2020-2023 triennial. As part of GSHH’s coalition, three girl members attended and participated in the weekend’s proceedings.

Though it was a long weekend on screens, and the connection with Girl Scout colleagues from across the movement was missed, GSHH delegates were happy to participate in the process. GSHH delegates are now preparing for the upcoming 2023 NCS and looking forward to a return to an in-person conference in Orlando, FL.!
