ABOUT US Organized in Savannah, Georgia, in 1980 by Patricia (Pat) Mathis, Pat Mathis Construction Company celebrates 42 years of service in the construction industry. The company was founded on two primary principles... exceptional performance and diligence while performing. These traits are the foundation for building satisfied clients and fostering relationships when conducting business operations throughout the southeastern United States.

Because of our operating principles, Pat Mathis Construction has developed many long-standing strategic relationships with industry firms. Together with our focus-driven operations, these relationships help facilitate the continually-changing delivery processes utilized by many Owners.

Pat Mathis Construction provides general contracting, program management, construction management, design-build, and construction consulting services. C.B. KING FEDERAL COURTHOUSE

ALBANY, GEORGIA General Services Administration: General Contractor $14.5 million

This historic three-story building with a mechanical penthouse is framed with reinforced concrete and some steel framing at the roof, sheathed in stone. The rotunda entrance is dignified and elegant, but modern enough to stand in harmony with its neighbors. There are courtrooms on both sides of a central service core and chambers and court-related functions outboard of these. Public spaces and waiting rooms serve across the front of the building. The judges’ chambers and the detainees restricted circulation make up three completely separated circulation systems that never have to cross. Performed as prime contractor for new construction of a 86,000 s. f. three story structure plus basement that houses all electrical, mechanical, high technology and security equipment, and parking area for judges. The building houses the District Court, Magistrate Court, Bankruptcy Court, each having private chambers and offices for support staff, offices for the U. S. Clerk of Court, U. S. Marshall’s Service, U. S. Probation and U. S. Attorney and other courthouse administrative staff. Emergency treatment stations are centrally located in area of Holding Cells.

BEACH HIGH SCHOOL AUDITORIUM SAVANNAH, GEORGIA

Savannah Chatham County Public School System Construction Manager Agent $7.2 million This state-of-the-art facility is a promise kept to the Beach High School Community.

The 600-seat auditorium will offer students and the surrounding community a raised stage, a scene shop, and dressing rooms, as well at sound and lighting systems for theater productions, concerts and performances of all kinds. The stage is equipped with LED lighting to save energy and provide an optimal setting for presentations of all kinds.

HAVEN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL SAVANNAH, GEORGIA

Savannah Chatham County Public School System Co-Construction Manager at Risk (in partnership with CPPI of Georgia) $18.5 million Project consists of approximately 92,000 SF of new construction. All demolition, new construction, site work, and utilities were included in the project scope. The school has a two story wing, 32 classrooms, a science classroom, media center, computer lab, music and art rooms; along with a gymnasium, kitchen and dining area. The building is designed to hold 650 grade K-8 students.

ISLE OF HOPE K-8 SCHOOL SAVANNAH, GEORGIA

Savannah Chatham County Public School System Co-Construction Manager (in partnership with CPPI of Georgia) $20.3 million The Isle of Hope project is a new school constructed in place of the existing school. The school has a two story side for 40 classrooms, 4 science classrooms, media center, computer lab, music and art rooms; along with agymnasium, kitchen and dining area. The building is designed to hold 800 grade K-8 students.

NEW HAMPSTEAD K-8 SCHOOL SAVANNAH, GEORGIA

Savannah Chatham County Public School System Construction Manager Agent $44.4 million Hampstead K-8 School is a state-of-the-art facility located on the western edge of Savannah. The building will house 93 classrooms for Pre-K though 8th Grades. A welcoming recreation area the unites the campus. This state-of-the-art facility will feature technology-enhanced classrooms, age appropriate recreation areas and a capacity of 1,500 students. Outside, a natural walkway connects the school to New Hampstead High School.

Along the way are observation decks for outdoor classes.

SAVANNAH INTERNATIONAL TRADE & CONVENTION CENTER EXPANSION SAVANNAH, GEORGIA

Savannah-Georgia Convention Center Authority Co-Construction Manager at Risk (in partnership with Clark Construction) $235 million The expansion project will generally double the size of the existing center and consist of the following new function spaces: 100,000 square feet of exhibit space; a 42,000 square foot ballroom; 14 new meeting room divisions for a total of 23,000 square feet; public circulation, service and support spaces, a new public garage, and a reconfigured surface parking lot. Also, included will be new entry plazas / arrival zones with overhead canopies, a large glazed curtainwall system and architecturally exposed structural steel supports.

NEW ENMARKET ARENA SAVANNAH, GEORGIA

City of Savannah Co-Construction Manager at Risk (in partnership with AECOM Hunt) $160 million Project consists of approximately 200+ SF with 9,000 seats, twelve (12) luxury suites, and 450 club seats in some form that responds to the Savannah market. Parking for the arena will be a combination of surface and structure parking totaling approximately 3,000 spaces.
