Lord Jesus, we humbly ask that you meet us on our Emmaus journey. Bring healing and hope to the places where grief and pain hold us captive and prevent us from seeing you. Break through anything in our heart, mind, or life that keeps us from encountering you and experiencing your transformational power. May we too feel our hearts burn and be empowered to respond so that others might know the resurrecting power of Jesus Christ. We ask this through the power of the Holy Spirit Amen.
